Sold one of my Telegram bots with 20M users for $329 000!

I didn't even know you could sell a bot! Great, there goes the next 5 hours of my night.

Awesome man! Congrats! What are you up to now? (I have some ideas, haha) :)

    1. 1

I have plenty of other projects at borodutch.com to take care of, and a few ones that are coming up :)

        I wouldn't expect anything else ;-) Cheers!

  3. 2

Which tech stack did you use to create a bot ?

  4. 2

Amazing! Congrats to you man, @borodutch. Keep building :)

I've used the Shieldy for our community group and I was amazed by its simplicity. Congrats!

Thank you for the kind words!

This is pretty awesome! I have tried Shieldy for some time in one of my groups and liked its no-nonsense configuration.

One thing - 20M means the total number of users in the groups, right?

I also have a couple of bots which are being used by 20K users and are also added to a lot of channels (both big and small) and I am still trying to find out the best way to monetize them.

Hi there! Thank you for the comments and for the kind words.

You're correct, yes, it's the total number of users in the groups.

330k seems low for a bot with 20,000,000 users. How'd you come to that number?

And regardless, congrats on the successful acquisition!

Even though it seems to be on a lower end, it's still the largest bot deal yet :D It's a wild west for now. I explained the reasoning behind the price here: blog.borodutch.com/how-i-got-multiple-offers-to-sell-shieldy-at-the-same-time.

Thank you for the kind words! :)
