Sorry, you're not allowed to post this.

Hi guys,

I'd like to launch my first project and make a post about it here on IH. However, whenever I include a link to the project, I get the error:

'Sorry, you're not allowed to post this.'

Can someone help me to resolve this?

I am facing the same issue. How can I join groups to avoid this error.

If you just signed up, there's a slightly evasive alert box that tells you you cannot post too soon after registration. Also, try to join a group and then post specifically to the group?

Thanks for letting me know. I don't however think it has anything to do with when I signed-up seeing that I already signed-up 6 months ago. Maybe it has to do with the number of points I have on my profile? Couldn't find anything official about it though.

I'm receiving this message as well. I assumed it's because it's my first post or because it contained links... However, the links reference an Indie Hacker podcast episode and a Twitter thread (not spammy).

I joined a few groups. I guess I'll try comment more in an effort to build some cred to see if that helps. Unfortunate, because the post referenced a recent IH episode and I was trying to be timely.
