Woah. Is it possible to make a tool out of this? Like, I enter the company and it tells me which newsletters it's sponsoring? I also think that founders (who have newsletters, etc) would find it very valuable if you give them a report telling which companies are sponsoring their competitors/or non-competitive companies in the same market.

Agree with this, would be super interesting!

      Hey,
thanks a lot for the feedback! The first thing is possible as I am building a database (currently with airtable) with companies running sponsorships and you can filter sort by name. The second one is a super cool idea! Will see how i can implement it!

Seems very useful! My guess is people will appreciate having some contact info. I know when I wanted to send sales emails to potential sponsors, the hard part was finding out who in the company I should email and what their contact info is. Perhaps you could even pay wall that kind of information.

Tip for your post: Give it a better name. 😇 I know that internally, for you, you want to keep track of what report it is. But to a random person browsing the IH forum, a title like "Sponsors #0001" is meaningless and doesn't entice them to click in and read your post. Which is literally the only goal for your title.

A better title for the forum (and most channels) would be a descriptive one that tells people what they're going to get if they click into your post, e.g. "Learn who's buying sponsoring and running ads in newsletters, podcasts, and websites"

Yes, I know Dru Riley does this same title format for Trends when he posts his latest newsletter on IH, but I think he should change too.

Hey, thanks a lot for your feedback! You are right with the headline - changed it :-)
Respect to the contact info - i am already doing that and adding contact info of the marketing department or the CMO to each sponsor listing...sometimes hard to find out the right person though
