The shortcut works and with iOS 14 personal automation there's powerful use cases. I created a customizable workflow that my users can import. It's quite cool. And the standard use case is just setting a single person in touch via Siri without the need to open the app. Less friction.
Examples:
- Mark contacts in touch, who live at XYZ when leaving their flat
- Mark people in touch after receiving an email with subject "How was the meetup?"
- Every Friday at 7pm mark friends in touch (for regular events)
- Mark coworkers from coworking space in touch, when leaving the coworking space
