Perhaps its a quick workout. Kick the metabolism into a higher gear. Perhaps it’s reading a chapter of a challenging book. Bring the mind into sharper focus. Perhaps it’s a few basic chores. Shorten that to-do list.
Make it a “goldilocks” task… Not-too-easy, not-too-hard, but still undeniably valuable.
An early morning win is your productivity insurance policy.
With a success already in the bank, you can proceed with full confidence that this cannot, by definition, be a “zero day.” Not to mention, by starting the day net-positive, you also start it momentum-positive.
If the snowball is already rolling by 9am, could you possibly have the full snowman built by lunch?? Maybe. You’ve overcome inertia and the momentum is now on your side.
