Starting a Dual-Sided Marketplace: The Struggle to Balance Supply and Demand

  1. 1

Very nice article - indeed! We are in a similar boat but in a different domain. The battle started to find the demand and supply. If you were to give, what advise would that be for the RemoteWorkJar.com? :)

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks! I also built a job board, and I recommend focusing on a niche. At first, I will gather some job posts related to your target audience. When you have them on the site, you need to start reaching out to job seekers. When you've got many people searching for jobs at your site, companies will be interested in adding their new job openings for $$. Supply first (even if it is manually or scrapped), then demand, and then organic supply will come. Hope it helps!
