Hey everyone 👋
Not too long ago, I posted here saying that Good Code got featured on the front-page of /r/InternetIsBeautiful - well it didn't last long, I think the post was shadowbanned(?), not entirely sure what happened, I can view the post on my own Reddit account, but it wouldn't show on the subreddit.
Nonetheless, the post got a good 1-2 hours on the front page, so here are the stats:
📈: 1,089 website visitors
🖥️: 32s average session duration
💰: 0 templates sold. 98 free templates downloaded.
Am I surprised that there wasn't any sales? Not really, the subreddit is largely random and isn't really where my target audience is. The fact that at any point in time during the 2 hrs I had ~40 users online, however, gave me a good push to keep going.
That sucks nobody bought it though
Not really, the 2 paid templates are only there as a way of people supporting the website if they feel like it. They don't provide any real value over the other templates, so it's understandable that there hasn't been any purchases.
I would call it success.
Definitely, always great to have extra validation.
