Hi everybody,
Yet another BF promotion. Just what this group needs, amirite? 🤷♂️
Sorry for being that guy. Hopefully this one is compelling enough to make it worth it.
It's easy for your AWS costs to get away from you. A resource here, another there, and you end up with lots of long running resources that no one is really using. Don't wait until the end of the month to find out your bill has gotten away from you.
Billgist is based on my own, relatively simple needs: send me an email into my inbox showing me my daily spending and how it's trending this month.
I also want the ability to have this report pushed to anyone on the team (e.g. accountant, CFO, someone with financial responsibility) without them needing to know how to sign into the AWS console.
If you manage client's AWS accounts like me, you want to monitor multiple AWS accounts, without paying per account.
Some of you might have already seen or tried Billgist before without buying, so this is your chance to come back and give it another try with this holiday code.

This will give you a 66% discount and drop to $30 pm / $300 pa $10 pm / $100 pa.
If this isn't for you, no worries. Thank you for reading. If you're in the US, have a great Thanksgiving holiday.
i just tried this out, looks super-slick, was easy to sign up, etc.
i searched for something like it on here b/c i wanted something like it and thought i might build it myself.
i'm not so interested now, but i def like y'all's execution.
Thanks for the feedback. Glad you liked it. Happy to hear any other feedback you might have. Sending you an email in case you want to little 'r' me.
Could you break down what AWS provides/doesn't provide in terms of billing monitoring, vs your product?
Good question. Billgist provides the following features, that are not available in AWS console:
The first point is most important to me because a) you may not know ahead of time what you thresholds are going to be; and b) your thresholds are always evolving, so this is a setting you have to keep changing.
