This is Storytelling for Introverts - a public google doc with the best tips on how to tell better stories.
I have a problem - I'm a bad storyteller, but I want to be a good one. It is hard for introverts to learn this skill.
I've tried a bit in the past to improve my storytelling skills, but I haven't found anything yet that hits the spot.
There should be a live course on how to tell stories better. So, I'm collecting storytelling tips and I'm going to make one!
It will be called Storytelling for Introverts (perhaps). It will be focused on verbal storytelling - the stories you would tell in everyday life to your friends on a night out, or to your colleagues in the morning.
Leave your best storytelling tip on public google sheet.
I will collect all the responses (I'll always leave the sheet public) and make it into a blog post, or ebook or something, and I'll also use it to design the course.
I'm not sure who I will hire yet - a good public speaker for sure, but more specifically perhaps a comedian, or someone who can deconstruct storytelling well.
I also tweeted about it here if you want to check out the thread: https://twitter.com/_ronanmc/status/1460214958923390977
