Stripe and Plaid suit up for battle

  1. 1

Has anyone used Plaid's ACH service yet?

Really interesting post Maaike. I hadn't thought about it before but in hindsight, it makes a lot of sense. Customer acquisition is expensive and competitive. So, naturally, companies will try to offer as much value to their customers as possible - to, get as much value as possible in return. But this, of course, means expanding their offering. So, as a company grows, not just in revenue but in terms of the products/services/features they offer their customers, they'll begin to tap into the territory of new competitors they hadn't necessarily considered to be competition when they first launched.

I'm curious to know - has this happened to any Indie Hackers? Have you discovered new competitors as you've broadened your product's reach?
