Stripe Hold My Money For 120 Days and Still Won't Release It - Stripe Scam

Hello,

I had a very bad experience with Stripe.com Payment Processor for my ecommerce business and would like to share it.

I started using Stripe as a payment processor for my ecommerce website On July 2020, and I made about $20K through their payment processor.

I have been providing them with all required tracking numbers and was handling customer service very well and all of a sudden they decided to deactivate my account
and put a hold on %100 of my money for 4 months.

So, I waited 4 months to get my money back which was supposed to be at December 2nd. 2020.

Since then, they've been postponing withdrawal EVERYDAY and I have been contacting them several times over email and they always get back with the automated replies!!

I changed my payment from automatic to manual, and whenever I click "Pay out to bank" they show a warning sign "Can not create payouts" and I have to contact support!!!

I will keep emailing them till I get my money back.

But, hope you guys stay away from them. I don't recommend Stripe at all.

Thanks.

Kind regards

Hey @saadhussiensaad — I work at Stripe. In the rare case Stripe has identified that a business might not deliver products to their customers as expected, we might hold onto the funds in the business's Stripe balance, which will provide buffer in case there are unexpected customer refunds or chargebacks. I'd like to double check on this for you — would you be able to email me at [email protected]?

Hey I am having the exact same problem as the guy above, is there something you can do?

Hello did you manged to get back your money?

I have this exact same issue. I was told the hold would be for 90 days and It's been over three years.

Here is the strange/nasty parts from Stripe:

      1. I was told by email that I could continue to use the service for three days.
      2. During the three day extended use period, I was not given a way to refund customers (Our refund policy was 90 days)
      3. During the three day extended use period, I was told by Stripe to tell our customers to file a charge-back if they needed a refund.
      4. Emailing Stripe does not get me an actual human being; all of my messages are responded by a bot that repeats the same email message.

Apparently this is common with Stripe. What can be done about this?

Hello @edwinwee, I sent you an email 2 days ago and still didn't get a reply from you.
      What should I do now?!

    Hey bro,

    Did you get your funds

    1. 1

Yes, I was able to get my funds back only after submitting this post here, even though I tried to contact them many times via their contact form.

One of their support noticed it here and escalated a case or something.
But, that shouldn't be the way to contact Stripe if I get my funds on hold, they should have much better support.
