Team building activities to do this November

We know that this November feels particularly stressful – US election, a pandemic that is not going way soon enough, and holiday shopping season looming. However, let’s not get ahead of ourselves, and instead take a moment to savour the Pumpkin Spice Latte awesomeness that November has to offer!

Here are some team building activities to do this November with your colleagues from home:

World Kindness Day (13th November)

We could all use some extra kindness in this time of great uncertainty. A compliment, smile or simple “Thank You” can go a long way to brighten someone’s day.

  • Ask each department to create a photo collage of things they are grateful for, and share it with the company.
  • Send each other e-cards (or better, handwritten cards) to show love and appreciation for one another.
  • Support your team to attend mental health workshops and invest in personal wellbeing.

Movember

While some of us may not have trimmed all that much since the lockdown, it is officially Movember – the month to raise awareness about men's health issues. In addition to supporting the cause by growing a mustache, take a group selfie using Snap Camera filters. (Pro Tip: search for “mustache” in Snap Camera.)

Jeopardy Game

Team games are the great for building camaraderie and discovering hidden talents of your co-workers. Friendly competition also elevates team spirits and brings people closer together. When hosting your next virtual happy hour or trivia night, use our November Jeopardy template, or build your own web-based game with Jeopardy Labs.
