Hey everyone,
We are looking for a VP of growth to help lead our sales and marketing. We have a team of 4, an advisor (former CMO elemental AWS), we took part in PIE Accelerator. We have 1 recently acquired customer (on a free trial for 6 months).
About the product:
Fleet55.com is a delivery optimization tool for companies that make 50+ deliveries per day per truck/van. We are working to be an end to end logistics solution, this is a new solution to the industry and will take time to build. Until then- our current solution is sellable.
We are looking for someone with experience in customer growth, good communication, and is passionate on what we are working on (if not the product then the goal of taking 50% of running a business off the hands of our clients and easing their pain).
If you are interested- best place to reach me is by email: [email protected]. You can also post here, but I do check email far more often.
Cheers,
Mike
Hi Mike,
It looks interesting, initial feedback is that the landing page copy I feel is fairly vague, I struggled to see what the pain point you would be solving for me. Whilst I guess you are not totally focussed on driving traffic to the site as your main acquistion channel right now, even with direct outreach, it is important that your messaging is focussed on the pain that persona typically feel in their role.
I would imagine your avg deal size would be fairly large, pitched at enterprises. I would recommend using cold outreach -LI/email and framing the message something like:
----------------------------------
Talking to [persona role], something I commonly hear is that [pain point]. How do you currently tackle this problem?
At fleet55 we are working to solve this by [one line pitch].
As we build this out, we are talking to industry experts like yourself to get feedback - would you have 20 minutes spare this week?
————————————————
I would imagine you should get a good response to this type of messaging, use it as an opportunity to validate what you are building, and then soft close on the call
Hope this helps!
Dan
Hey Dan, yes appreciate the detailed feedback. Will give this a go. Thanks!
