The "beautiful lie" you have to have to start.

The characteristics of a fool and a hero are very similar. Every time we started building a new product we had the "beautiful lie" in our heads that it will be THE THING. It was never like that. Building great things takes time, learning, and iteration.

But the beautiful lie is important. It gives you the energy, passion. It makes you do stuff. Imagine not having it. You would do nothing.

And what I try now is to work with knowing there is the beautiful lie that energizes me, and that things won't most likely go as expected and be ready for it and continue the grind to become a bit more like HERO.
