The Entrepreneur Handbook - What's your feedback about this idea?
Hi,
I would like to share an idea to see if Indie Hackers could be interested in such a product.
I am a big fan of Filofax paper organizers. I tested a lot of productivity tools (Kanban, Calendar, Notion, etc.), but I always came back to my Filofax, to the point where I use it to manage my whole life. I would be lost without it!
Currently, I have these sections in my filofax:
- Agenda
- Tasks
- Habit tracker / Wellness goals
- Daily diary
- Ideas / Projects
Everything has been bought online, without customization.
What is missing (to me) are Lean Canvas sheets as I often use this methodology to deep-dive into new ideas.
And the idea popped: an "entrepreneur handbook" - based on the Filofax system with customized sheets - might interest other persons.
The cover would be customized to show elegantly "My Entrepreneur Handbook" (golden letters on a black leather cover for example). And I will add, in addition to the above sections:

Startup indicators to write the various KPIs on a weekly basis

Timesheets to track time

Some memos about the terms used for SaaS businesses, usual formulas, etc.
Potentially in the cover, inside the handbook:
- a small calculator
- a pen (this is native in the official Filofax)
- A small digital clock with "play / pause / reset" to track time
The main advantage for the buyer: you have to buy it once, then you just buy the refill papers. Based on the customization required, the selling price would be ~$70 or ~$80.
Do you think it is a viable idea, despite most of us being always in front of the screen?
My own behaviour: I like to organize my work outside the screen, otherwise I feel that reviewing my tasks is a task in itself 😇 This is why I would appreciate your feedback!
