The place to find remote freelancers?

We're Hiring a Customer Success Manager & a Full-stack Developer. Any pointers on the best place to post about this?

Posting on sites like upwork and peopleperhour won't be allowed apparently as it is not a one-off job...

Thanks for any pointers everyone!

From my experience, despite plenty of marketplaces to look for talent, it's gotten harder to find expertise and quality help for short term jobs. There's still too much overhead and inconsistency to rely on third party marketplaces.

In my opinion, the best place to hire contractors are through using the network you already have. Recently, my solution to hiring is through AskFora, where you describe what you need, and AskFora then helps find qualified people from your network. With AskFora, a client can find a contractor, get their job done, and pay them, all in the same day. I highly recommend it. If you have a chance to check it out, I'd be curious to get your thoughts on how it works for you.

Upwork was my go-to for all remote contractors.

I used to run a software development agency, Auxility.ca. We were massively hiring freelancers for our contracting work, and built a system around hiring through Upwork which would take us about 10 days to source, assess, screen and interview up to 100 candidates for every position.

I hired copywriters, developers, marketers, brand managers, lawyers, designers, operations managers, etc...

Upwork is still in its early age in terms of quality of resources, but IMO the best and cheapest solution so far.

It is also a transparent economy where you know how much people pay and get paid for the work.

Hit me up if you want to learn more about the systems I utilized to effectively hire on Upwork.
