The rule of 3 for writing great sales emails!

Rule 1 - Always Personalise the email

Say no to templated emails, and yes to emails that are personalized for the receiver. By sending well-researched emails, you stand apart from the millions of other sales emails your recipient gets. It builds credibility for you.

There are different ways to do this like using customized images and videos in your email. You can even send personalized emails at scale by using techniques like conditional variables available on outreach tools like outplayhq.com

Rule 2 - Give them value

If your email contains information or a solution that provides value to the receiver, they are more likely to reply. But how do you do this? Find out who your target audience is, understand them really well, and only send emails that benefits them.

Imagine, by following step 1 you researched that your recipients like strawberry cake. Think of this step as adding strawberries to the cake you have made for them.

Rule 3 - - End your email with a simple actionable message

By doing this, you get the recipient to do the action that you want them to do - it can be clicking a link to your website or booking a meeting with you.

          I'll share my best performing sequence for makesales.io which is currently giving me a 19% reply rate:

          STEP 1 - EMAIL - IMMEDIATELY- starts new email thread
          {{First Name}} aka Tony Stark

          I see you recently started with {{Company}}, got your Iron Man suit? Sales is great when you're talking to a prospect who's interested in what you sell.

          The rest of the time, it's a tough world out there.

          What if the machine was actually working FOR you? Finding the info you need, take action for you and support you while you save the galaxy (or at least hit your quota...)

          STEP 2 - TASK - AFTER 2 DAYS- if no reply
          Add them on LinkedIn Their profile: {{LinkedIn}}

          STEP 3 - TASK - AFTER 2 DAYS- if no reply
          Check if connected, if so, thank them for connecting. If not, "Follow" them on LinkedIn.

          STEP 4 - EMAIL - AFTER 3 DAYS- sends on previous email thread, if no reply
          {{First Name}} - how do you keep finding new opportunities while you're firing missiles left & right?

          If you're Tony Stark, your boss is Jarvis, then where's your suit?

          A machine proactively thinking about what's good for quota.

          Do you want to chat?

          STEP 5 - TASK - AFTER 5 DAYS- if no reply
          LinkedIn direct message (voice note, 15 seconds, from your phone).

          STEP 6 - TASK - AFTER 1 DAY- if no reply
          Branch out, find someone different within the organization and enroll them in a new sequence.

          STEP 7 - EMAIL - AFTER 3 DAYS- sends on previous email thread, if no reply
          {{First Name}}, would it be a ridiculous idea to manage your Sales efforts through your own personal Sales Machine?

          Compelling sequences written for you, new prospects (and their contact info) based on who you already had success with, next sales action based on your prospects' behavior.

          STEP 9 - TASK - AFTER 152 DAYS- if no reply
          Re-enroll in a new sequence based on new findings in your space.
