What was your new year resolution that you started 2021 with? 🤔
If you are anything like me, you didn’t have “a” resolution. You had a list, probably with at least 10 things on it.
Learning a new skill. Going to Pilates class. Signing up for a committee. If somebody asks me where I am on these resolutions, sheesh, I’d rather not answer.
That’s what happens when you pick up too many things at a time.
You might have rows of days where you stick to all your new habits and then one day, you wake up and have no idea where you lost track of it all.
Science agrees with the Zen rule of changing one thing at a time. That's why in today's post I thought of covering this simple yet important rule of productivity.
To read more about it, you can head over to my today's blog post.

Actually, I really like this quote from Suzuki:
It really resonates well!
Amazing quote 🙏
A good reminder of being present and giving your undivided attention to everything you do.
Love the idea of keystone habits!
I found one good one for me was "waking up before 8am everyday" (I know it's not that early but I'm naturally a night owl.)
This habit meant I had to go to bed at a reasonable hour, so I was getting better sleep. And if I was up at 8am, I had an hour or two before I had to start work which meant i would exercise or work on my side project, both things that moved me forward.
I'm notorious for doing a habit for 2 days and then forgetting about it so I tracked the habit for 4 months using my own product https://heyitsharold.com/ (sorry shameless plug) and I actually stuck with it!
I like to think of the same for goals. I have a list, then order them in priority, work as much as I can for the first and only spend time on the second if nothing else can be done for the first. And so on.
Thank you for writing this, very helpful :)
This is what I lack personally. I start with one work but soon starts touching multiple work or project and end up messing the project which I started in the beginning.
Wow @siddhitaupare, trending again 💪 🤩
You have mastered the art of providing value and getting noticed.
Recently, I've decided to repeat myself the following mantra every 15 minutes: "Honor your commitments". It's not as exhausting as it sounds 😆, but you better believe it keeps you on track 💪
Cheers!
