Thoughts on On Deck

Wondering what the community things of On Deck (https://www.beondeck.com/) .

Seems really interesting and someone I respect/admire on Twitter recently applied. Wondering if anyone here has taken a swing at an application or even gone through the program, and what their thoughts are on the cost vs. reward.

Hope everyone is well, keep hacking!

I've been accepted and will be attending the first batch. I'm pretty nervous as the course creators fellowship is very expensive ($3k for a 9-week course).

But hey, I know that I need to be able to offer the best advice to course creators and that I'll be able to apply what I learn to my own courses so...I'm giving it a chance. Hopefully, it doesn't prove to be all hype.

That's awesome Christoper, hell yeah and congrats!

      I'm sure it'll be awesome.

Reach out when you're finishing up the course, would love to get your takeaways.

That's a solid point. Do you mean just to see if they'd let you in, even if you don't want to/have the 2K to spend?

i think the practice of getting your thoughts down on paper in a way that's trying to convince others...is always a useful exercise.
