Tip: Get more subscribers by adding newsletter issues to your site

You spent all that time writing your latest newsletter issue, don't just leave it there — make the most of it. Get more subscribers by posting it to your website and optimizing it for SEO.

@hrishikesh1990 of Flexiple and Buildd ($3MM+) has been writing newsletters for three years to help him grow his startup, and the results have been impressive. He suggests posting newsletter issues to your website, and he offers two ways to do it. You can house the issues as archives, allowing potential subscribers to get a taste of what you offer. This should make them more likely to subscribe and less likely to unsubscribe. Or you can take it a step further by reformatting it as a blog post and optimizing it for SEO. Repurposing your newsletter in this way shouldn't take long, and it'll allow you to harness the power of SEO while adding great content to your blog. Of course, it should be noted that Hrishikesh's advice is best applied to free newsletters, not paid.
