Every user is different, so don't show them all the same pricing options. To get more paid users, find out what each free user needs and recommend a plan accordingly.
When Github started recommending different plans to different users, they saw a crazy 61% increase in paid conversions. After a user creates a free account, they are asked a few simple questions designed to ascertain the number of people who will be on the plan and the features that they'll want to use. The user is then presented with three options. They can select the plan that Github recommends based on their answers. They can continue with a free plan. Or they can skip without answering. Apparently, this customized experience and reduction in cognitive load had a big impact on new users.
