Hey all, From what I've heard and seen on this community, a lot of folks here seem to opt to using open source projects and free tools, languages and software to build the foundation of their company. While I can see the benefits of this approach, there are faster ways to build an MVP.
I'm a big believer in going as fast as possible early on, and so I opt to use tools that speed things up, even if they are paid. I use Strapi, Heroku, Firebase, Parse, and Supabase for my backend all the time. Sometimes I'm on their free plan, other times I'm paying. And I'm considering using Webflow for the frontend so I can avoid html/css too. Am I wrong in my approach? I'm curious how this community thinks about speed vs control when choosing their tech stack for new projects.
