Today is the 14th day since I got my first symptoms of a Covid19 disease. And my reaction to it was pretty mixed.
First, I thought it is just a regular cold. I survived a whole year without getting infected, I was obeying all of the restrictions, took greater care of my immune system - there is no way I could get that!
2 days after the symptoms I was tested positive. And my whole life routine changed.
I couldn't go for walks, which I loved so much.
Visiting my family became impossible.
Enjoying food, TV series and podcasts wasn't the same, because of the enormous tirelessness I felt the whole time.
Luckily, I wasn't alone in all of this. My husband was there with me, the whole time and I guess I owe him maintaining my mental health. I can't imagine the fear and uncertainty felt by people, who were spending their isolation alone.
Luckily, I'm getting better. But this experience showed me clearly, how important is the primary goal of Social Media.
Not money, not getting leads, not building company image.
But connecting people and alleviating loneliness.
Like Marcus Hamilton and Frindow does.

I want to say my opinion. Steam disinfection can protect against covid-19 https://www.fortador-usa.com/blog/does-steam-kill-viruses-how-to-kill-germs-with-steam-cleaning I think this is a great way and here is how long does steam take to kill bacteria
I believe that we need more meaningful Social Media Apps!
The ones that are not contaminated by business yet - where groups aren't places to promote the companies but to make connections.
We don't need another social media wall possessed by negative media coverage. We are tired of that.
So please, if you agree with me and want to make an online world a better place - let's connect our forces and build something great together 👉 here
