Hi everyone! I'm part of Bit Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit run entirely by students and recent grads. Our mission is to promote diversity and inclusivity in the tech industry by making tech education more accessible to students around the world. We aim to do this by providing resources to help them become future tech leaders. We organize free Bit Camps, which are free hands-on learning experiences. All of our curriculum is open source and available on our GitHub repo. (https://github.com/bitprj/BitCamp/tree/master/Serverless-Functions.)
This June, we will be hosting our 8-week Intro to Serverless program, in which students learn and apply skills to build a complete web app with a frontend (HTML, CSS, JS) and backend (Azure Functions, NodeJS). We believe that mentorship is one of the keys to helping students achieve their goals. We are looking for software engineers and developers to serve as mentors for this program. You can find more details about mentorship at our volunteer page (https://bitproject.org/volunteer). If you would like to make a difference and want to apply, please fill out this form(https://info421626.typeform.com/to/T6YYDgAP).
