I've had Cleaver in closed beta and then open beta for about 2 months now. During this time, we've gotten about 150 beta testers. Not too shabby, right?
However, even though we amassed quite a few "testers" and were able to see how they were interacting with the system, received some good info via sign-up surveys, etc. - we only really had good, constant, consistent feedback from a couple of our first beta tester sign-ups. Still, not bad - love to see a few people super interested in what we are doing and joining us for the ride. Helps keep us motivated! 🚗
Then, last week we put on the price tag and the feedback comes pouring in! 🏷
Which is great for multiple reasons:
Do I regret not charging earlier?
Not really... It was all part of the plan and the rise in feedback once we put a price tag on the service was expected. We're looking for good, sustainable buildout of our MVP. Certainly, more feedback sooner would obviously have been nice - but, overall, we're happy with the pace and track we're on.
Besides, captain hindsight is always the greatest, yet most fantastically useless superpower out there.
Keep moving forward!
