Whilst podcasting ourselves, we got frustrated that most of the tooling landscape out there seemed to focus on podcasts who monetise through ads. The reality is that only a tiny fraction is able to do this in a financially meaningful way or wants to risk upsetting their listeners with ad breaks. There had to be other ways to grow your show and engage with the audience you love! We think the community is the answer.
Podcast cross-promotions - teaming up with another podcast and exchanging promotions or content on each other's shows - is one of the most effective (and cheap!) ways to reach an audience. It's also been notoriously hard to find quality matches and establish relationships. This is what we want to solve so that every podcast has a fighting chance to reach those who'd love their content.
