We launched and we'd love your support :)

Hey All!

I mentioned a little bit ago about Listory and our launch... We finally did it!! We Launched!!

Listory, the world’s first content refinery is out now - check it out on Product Hunt!! We’re going against the mold by narrowing down your content to perfectly suit your needs and desires. That’s right. Less content. More satisfaction and focus.

If you all could carve out a tiny bit of time to show your love and support, that would be super super huge. Thanks so much in advance.

If you'd like to add your newsletter to Listory, please do so through this link ☺️

Congrats on the launch! I just heard about Listory through an Axios story, and it sounds intriguing.

I’m curious about how this works for newsletter founders. i.e. If the platform extracts the newsletter content and presents it to readers on a separate app/platform, how does the newsletter founder benefit? Can each newsletter actually grow its own subscriber list through Listory, or is all the reader data restricted to the app itself?

Hey! Thanks so much for the question!

For Newsletter Founders it's a pretty unique platform.

Unlike other newsletter repositories that only segment by industry / topic. There is so much room for discovery at Listory.

Just starting with For You - For You is our designated section for discovering the most important (i.e. the most mentioned stories) when a reader actually views the stories, they are able to see all the curators that mentioned that story - so whether you are a big newsletter or a small newsletter, you are pooled together. From there, readers can work backwards and view the curators list that that story is mentioned.

Aside from that, there is so much room for discovery on our actual discovery page, then if readers want to follow your profile, they will receive a push notification every time there is a new issue. Plus, on your newsletter page, there is a subscribe module where readers are taken to your newsletter sign-up landing page.

Lastly, we all know the struggle of the inbox, so if/when readers follow your newsletter on Listory, readers can read through all your content first starting with your issue, so they never really leave your newsletter. It's branded with your name and issue - so if they do take any action (which is also possible) i.e. save, list it, or share, you're name appears "Wing shared this story with you from "X curator from X list." Really utilizing your readers to gain new readers.

Re: Subscriber lists - we're thinking about creating a analytics for newsletters possibly... think Spotify for Artists. It's another platform for readers to discover content and newsletters, but also bring the trust and credibility because of the intersection. Happy to elaborate further if you have any questions!
