We partnered in an event that is on the verge of making a Guinness World Record.

A 24-hour workshop on python that will help any beginner to learn and build a face recognition app. Guvi the edu-tech company wanted to kindle the curiosity among students, working professionals in learning python & prepare the nation’s youth for the AI era.

Guvi has been using our product to manage their community for more than 12 months now. We have seen their community grow from zero to several thousand.

A couple of weeks ago, they approached us with the idea. Honestly, I felt a bit overwhelmed hearing the plan. I am pretty sure you would too if you heard them say “Eight-hundred thousand participants is what we expect to be part of the event”. But as a founder, this excited me. We signed the partnership agreement to be their community partner. Our role was clear, help them manage the community during the event and help them with some registrations.

As of today, over 300,000 people have signed up. What took me by surprise was, there were registrations outside India. We never expected that.

So what exactly happened? Everyone wrote emails. Every employee of the company, partners, and us wrote emails to the ones who we know about explaining the idea. God knows, whom they forwarded the emails to. This is truly amazing, I am still unable to recover from the joy of seeing those numbers.

The event is set to happen on April 24th, 48 hours from now. During the course of the event which is about 24 hours, our product is going to be the knowledge base, FAQ, and community
forum.

Could I be any more excited than this?

If you ask me what have we learned from this opportunity, I would say
"EMAIL STILL WORKS".
