Welcome, introduce yourself! (Week of Aug 30th)

Rosie here -- the Indie Hackers community manager. Welcome! 👋

This short guide is meant to help you get the most out of Indie Hackers.

First, introduce yourself!

Indie Hackers is a community of people helping each other build profitable businesses and side projects. The key word here is "community." Don't be shy!

For starters, take a second to introduce yourself and share your goals in the comments below. 👇

Just say a few words about who you are, why you're here, and what you hope to accomplish or learn in 2020.

Take a moment to say hello to someone else as well!

Dive into learning.

We've interviewed hundreds of successful indie hackers. I recommend reading a few of their stories. It's a great way to get an overview of what's possible.

@csallen also puts out podcast episodes if reading isn't your thing!

Next, get started!

There's no time like the present. Check out the "Start Here" page for a list of practical steps and articles that can help you take action.

Not only will it help you get started, but it should also introduce you to some of the best parts of the Indie Hackers community.

This is just the tip of the iceberg! If you're ever feeling lost or confused, post in the Meta group or tag me (@rosiesherry) in any comment or post.

Don't forget to introduce yourself and say hi to someone else below! 🤗

    Hey friends and indie hackers!

I've been searching for a community like this and am glad to have found you here!

I'm excited for the coming months of sharing ideas, resources, and making connections with people in this community.

I'm from Vancouver, Canada and building a business around helping entrepreneurs and creatives unleash their creativity, lower their stress, and break outside the mold of 'Normal'.

Looking forward to chatting more soon.

    Hi indie hackers!

My name is Kirill and I'm from Mother Russia). English isn't my primary language, but I think that isn't a big problem there.

I'm a software engineer at a fin-tech company. I'm an experienced backend developer and now I try to learn iOS development. I have a few ideas for mobile apps and I hope the community helps me to make them real (by advice or feedback).

I've been looking for a community like that for at least the past two months and finally found it. Before I've been googling without "indie", heh.

I didn't know there was something like Indie Hackers until, a couple of hours ago, out of sheer serendipity, I got here.

Hello IndieHackers, I am Vishal Sirur - A marketing consultant with over 7 years of experience and counting. I love what I do and never feels like work.

I mainly talk and work about Marketing ideas, growth tips/ hacks and Startups.

Through my experience, I recently built DigitalActually.com with a sole purpose to help budding entreprenuers, soloprenuers and marketers to access to ready-to-execute marketing plans. You need not pay loads to to a marketing agency or struggle to reach out their customers by yourself.

You can just download the plan documents that suit your business and execute well.

This is a great opportunity to leverage my years of experience, learnings and pains into your profit.

Any FEEDBACK from indiehackers community is highly appreciated!

Hi, I'm Sieb, a long time tech enthousiast now looking for a carreerswitch to IT. I started looking for communities online and that's how I ended up here, I'm very much looking forward to exchanging ideas and meeting people who share some of my ideals.

Hi everyone! I am Anamika, from Bangalore (the startup hub of India).
I started up this year with a friend of mine - we're creating Blend - an app for people to play board games inside a chat and have fun with their friends and family.

I was actually looking for places to launch my startup in order to get some early adopters. Found @xavier 's post on notion and got to know about Indiehackers from there. A big thanks to Xavier for the post (which is extremely useful for first time entrepreneurs).

I am so excited to be a part of this community, learn from everyone, get motivated and help others with whatever I can. Cheers!!

    1. 1

Sounds interesting Anamika. Can I try Blend somewhere right now?

    2. 1

      Hey!
I'm glad that list helped you, and even happier to know that you're now part of this communities.
      Welcome on board @anamika510

    Hi all,
I've been a sysadmin for 10 years. I love Linux and Open Source, and I love my job. But I don't want to be an employee forever. I'm looking to leverage my technical knowledge towards building a business, probably SaaS.
IH seems like an interesting place.

  13. 3

    Hi everyone,

I’m the founder of Sendible, a social media management platform designed for agencies.

We are fully bootstrapped and highly profitable (7 figures annually).

As a first time founder with almost 50 employees, I feel a little out of my depth so I’m looking to connect with other bootstrapped founders and CEOs who are reaching scale.

  14. 3

Hi Everyone , I have been searching for place like this to connect with fellow entrepreneurs and developers who trying to do amazing things.
Excited to see what's coming .

I am Dumindu , from Sri Lanka.

    1. 1

HI @Duminduwije, nice to meet you! What do you do?

  15. 3

Hi Everyone, I learnt about IH from some twitter threads and a collaborator who asked for feedback on rejections. IH looks like a nice place buzzing with loads of activity.

I am moonlighting for a health-tech startup and also trying to build a healthcare community on the side...looking to learn & share on nocode, building MVP, finding co-founders and community building.

  16. 2

    Hey friends and indie hackers
I'm so happy to have found this community and I'm excited to share and receive ideas with everyone in this community.
I want to bring more inspiration to my website (instantlogodesign.com), I am here to explore my creativity and create value!

  17. 2

Hi everyone, my name is Pablo I'm from Bolivia in South America, I'm very happy to have entered this community, I think it's the right place for me to be, I've been creating startups for about 3 years, and now I'm working on a service that has 6 months on the run, we have some clients and users, but I'm quite worried because I dont think my team is committed as I am, and I'm afraid if continuing in this startup is the right thing to do, also one of my cofounders just leave the team and is asking quite amount of money for its equity

If you could give me your advice with a similiar experience I would be really grateful and well, after all I'm happy to be here, thanks and hello again! 😁

    1. 1

Hi Pablo! First of all, welcome to indie hackers. I'm new here myself, but have been in the game for about 8 years.

I usually structure equity for founders and first hires with a 4 year vest (meaning that you get 1/4 of your equity each year over 4 years) and a 1 year cliff (meaning that if you part ways in the first year, you don't get any equity). So going forward, I recommend always structuring your equity with a cliff that guarantees a significant contribution before a partner potentially bails and vesting period that would give you the option to let someone go if they are not longer essential to the team without burning all of your runway.

This would solve your 6 month issue I think, but it might be a bit late for that if he already has a formal equity agreement signed for the full amount. Either way, I would say the worst thing you could do (from personal experience) is to give him a reason to take you to court. That can mean swallowing a bitter pill and paying him off for some or all of the equity or just letting him keep it (depending on the amount of course).

My advice to you is to keep it as friendly as possible. Try to reason with him and reach a compromise that you're willing to make and that he's willing to take in good faith. In the best case scenario, he'll part on good terms and you'll end up with some of your equity and a good therapist to work through the rage 😂. Wishing you all of the luck 🤞🤞🤞.

Also, if you feel like your equal equity co-founders aren't as commited as you, you should start a dialogue with them as gently as possible. You should not be combative or accusatory when you bring it up and you should be fully open to the possibility that you're wrong about this - easier said than done.

If your employees aren't as commited to the business as you are - good, they shouldn't be. Otherwise they will eventually feel taken advantage of. That's the difference between a founder and an employee (even a first employee). Part of your job as a founder is to create an uplifting environment for your employees that motivates them and aligns them with the vision of the company. Alot of good vibes and positivity needs to come from you. If you're feeling anxious about the project, translate that anxiety into OKRs that you can clearly communicate to the team. Then approach those OKRs collectively.

    Hello my fellow Indie Hackers!!

I'm Claudine. I'm currently in Lisbon, Portugal where I've been based for the past 3 years. I have 4 citizenships so I'm truly a woman of the world.

I'm passionate about living life on my own terms and about creating things that are helpful and provocative. I've been working on a mindset/productivity Saas project called Planifest.io which I've totally hacked together. I think it's best to learn by doing and it's been an enlightening journey so far.

I'm happy to have found kindred spirits!

    1. 1

Neat Claudine! Welcome to Indie Hackers. I've heard many good things about the taxes in Portugal and Lisbon looks beautiful from the sky (unfortunately I've haven't made it out of the airport yet 😅).

Planifest.io looks interesting. Whats your biggest vision for it? Would you ever take it in the direction of adding metrics or aligning it with the ORK mentality?

    Hello indie hackers,
I am Fazal Rehman from India, a frontend developer who graduated this year.
Although I have been following the community since last year. As only 3 months are left for 2021 to over, my goal is to be a part of the indie game by building my first MVP.

I am very glad to be part of this amazing community shoutout to everyone out there hustling and building.

  20. 2

    Hi friends
I'm glad I've found a community like this. I'm from Pakistan and I see good potential in the growing market. I'm a dev/ops engineer and I love to code. Hoping for a good start as an entrepreneur.

  21. 2

Hi all! My name is Anoop Bhat and I live in San Francisco. I have been in the enterprise software space for over 15 years now and speaking with a lot of customers, have a bunch of ideas. I used to be a developer but have not done coding for a long time now. I am looking for developers who can work with me on my journey to build Enterprise SaaS product (have a bunch of consumer app ideas too).

  22. 2

    Hi indie hackers,

I'm Ryoichi Fujita from Tokyo, Japan. Ex-Finance at tech giants and startups, now building a bootstrapped SaaS while working on consulting projects to cover living expenses. I'm new here and wish I could have found this kinda community sooner. Huge thanks to @DavisBaer as found it through his tweet.

As one idea, I'm thinking of creating the simplest cloud-based Python scheduler as deploying local script to the cloud today is so hassle even with AWS lambda or Google Cloud Scheduler.

Would like to partner with a python engineer who feels the same way.

    Looking forward to chatting more.

Hi fellow hackers! I'm a solo developer, working on https://www.interpolly.com, where you can improve your vocabulary by watching YouTube videos.
Feedbacks are welcome, as always :)
I can hardly wait to learn more about you and from you!

  25. 2

Hi there, I wonder if we have someone else from Ukraine here?)

I just left my Technical Product Manager job and decided to create my own startup. I have a goal - get accepted into US Accelerator in 12 months.
Right now I have $2000 and 5 months to find an idea and prepare myself for the Founder Institute cohort.

My name is Yev, I'm a regional coordinator in The Venus Project and a social entrepreneur with a technical background. I'm interested in EdTech and Mental health tracking markets.

Happy to join India Hackers and looking forward to having collaboration with you all!

  26. 2

Hello, my name is Isaac, I am a developer/designer who lives in Massachusetts. I have heard so many good things about this group. I've have been playing the traditional startup route, so many roadblocks, compromises, and red tape seem to get you distracted in why developers do what we do, we like to problem solve. It is even more difficult if it's a product geared to underrepresented communities. I hope to get out of this more so than anything else is to meetup with various people who are cause driven, who want to collaborate, network, or just want to share ideas and experiences.

Hope to interact with y'all soon.

  27. 2

    Hello friends 👋

I'm just figuring out how to use IndieHackers. I'm the creator of an Open source platform called Taskord - https://taskord.com

Taskord is a community of makers in tech shipping and working together. Makers post their daily tasks, questions, milestones in public and grow a network of supportive, like-minded people!

  28. 2

    Hi Everyone,

I ran a succesful business for 8 year that I had to shut down in 2019, after a couple of years in full time employment I've gotten the itch back to break out on my own again. I've gotten used to that steady pay check though so looking to workout how and when to make the step to step out on my own, i've got an app nearly ready to go but I keep finding reasons to put off launching it 🙄

Aiming to get it up by the end of July, wish me luck

    Simon (@allthecode on instagram)

  29. 2

    Hey indie friends!

I'm Nicolas from France 🥖 living in Spain 🥘 and currently working full time at Zapier.

I'm super glad this community exists! I know I've always struggled to remove the "side-" part of "side-projects" (mostly with me increasing the scope as it goes 😅). So I'm very excited to share ideas, feedback, resources, (dad jokes?) with the community!

I'm currently working on a SaaS to aggregate REST APIs with a fully managed GraphQL gateway. It's a plug and play, low code, and low maintenance alternative to create and host your own GraphQL gateway.

Looking forward to chat with y'all!

  30. 2

    Hi Hackeratti,
I'm a serial entrepreneurial engineer going back to the first PCs in Palo Alto. Nice to see a digital community to support get ideas off the ground. Especially during this pandemic.

Currently I'm CEO at esphere.com a global software engineering company primarily serving innovative web, mobile and medical applications for enterprise clients. I have also partnered up with hackers in the past on new ventures. I look forward to collaborating.

  31. 2

    Hi everyone!

I'm Alex and I'm from Australia. I'm really passionate about helping people better connect with their customers through technology.

Specifically, I want to completely remove the barrier to entry for entrepreneurs and business owners to get into the various types of software that are available to them so that they're not only less bombarded with non customer facing and boring work, but will have a better understanding of their customers.

I love talking to business owners about their tech needs and their priorities. My goal is to attain 15 managed clients that I can work with. This will allow me to work full time for myself which will give me more time to focus on what I love!

    Look forward to connecting :)

  32. 2

    Hey fellow builders and hackers!

Good to be here! If anyone is building cool stuff on top of Ethereum blockchain, please let me know - I'd love to connect with you!

  33. 2

    Hi all,
My name is Lucas I'm a Software Engineer and an Entrepreneur. I was looking a place to share code knowledge and startup stories... well looks like I found that place :)
My most recent project it's maploapp.com.
    Thank you all

    1. 1

      nice to meet you Lucas!

  34. 2

Hey everyone, my name is Samuel and i'm from India. I've been trying to find a community like this for a while now, and i'm really glad I found it. Looking forward to connect with like minded people and hopefully kick-start a side hustle very soon. I've been working at an investment banking company for the past 2 years, but i'm not really satisfied with the work that i'm doing. I have a whole bunch of ideas but i've never been able to execute any of them. Hopefully this changes now.

  35. 2

Hi Indie community, I'm Rishabh and today I stumbled upon indiehacker while looking for a community. I am so happy that I landed here. I can only imagine the positive impact of having such a platform.
I am looking forward to building meaningful connections and help each other grow. 🤩

  36. 2

Hey all, glad to be a part of IH community!

I am Pratik based out of New Zealand. I have been working in Adtech/Martech space for more than 4 years and solving Data Science challenges in the exciting domain.
Currently working on a side hustle to build a product/service which will help SMB's to market their offerings. In a phase to create MVP's as few businesses have signed up and shown interest.
Glad to be a part of the community, seek inspiration, ask and also answer questions within my limited realm of knowledge. Cheers!

    1. 1

      Hi Pratik,
are you targeting customers mainly down under, or should this be a world-wide thing? Good luck with the MVP!

      1. 1

Hey Chris, thanks! Pretty much down under for now being a solopreneur. But yeah keen to collaborate with people with similar interests and jump on the bandwagon.

  37. 2

    Hey hackers!

My name ist Oliver and i'm from Germany. I am 26 years old and have been working as a C# developer for 7 years. My biggest hobby is travelling. You can see me in my profile picture in Machu Picchu :)

I decided to become an indie hacker to get some more financial freedom. My goal is to earn 1000€ per month with my projects.

My App "FAST - Calorie Counter" exists already for 5 years but I never really treated it as real business. That has changed now and I try to generate income from my app. On the side I also work on new projects :) If you have any suggestions to improve my app please don't hesitate to let me know!

    1. 1

Hey Oliver 👋 how is progress on your Calorie Counter going? Were you able to achieve your goal?

  38. 1

Hey guys, I am Gavin, a web developer and freelancer from China. I hope to launch the very first Micro-SaaS app before 2022. (1 month left 🤣). Indie hackers community looks amazing.

  39. 1

Hello everyone! I'm Madison, I am a software developer in California, USA. I moved from Canada to the US a few years ago and just recently became eligible to work in the US, woohoo!

I'm so happy I found this community! I've been searching for a way to improve my skills and make some money on the side (who isn't). I also love to idea of working remotely.

All I have to do now, is think of an idea and just built it, how hard can that be... haha

  40. 1

Hello all! I'm Ben, a software developer from Cambridge, UK. I'm joining the community looking to build a side hustle business and generate revenue on the side. I'm hoping to eventually live a digital nomad life style and travel the world while earning an income remotely. 😁

    1. 1

Hi Ben! are you already working on something ?

      1. 1

Nothing right now, I'm eager to start building something but I'm struggling with ideas

  41. 1

    Hi everyone,
I am joining this community because i want to build a product which solves an actual need. I want to use this space actively to learn about the market and also meet like minded people.

I work as a software developer more inclined towards back end development. Although i want to learn and up-skill myself in front end too.

My goal for this year is to identify and build a profitable side project.

  42. 1

Hello everyone, I am Arvind, a college student. I am here to develop a useful product and ship it. I am a total newbie in this field but I have experience in web development.

  43. 1

I wished I found this community earlier - but everytime you think you reached the end of the internet, something new arises. So thanks upfront for everyone sharing their stories and also taking time to comment and share feedback.

👋🏻 I live in Germany and work full-time for a software company. On the side I had a few gigs on building projects by people who I know personally and trust me. I love the fact that the limits of software are just about knowledge and imagination.

Last time I started my own project that didn't failed feels long time ago - mostly because I failed on the marketing (or research? 🙃) part. So this is me trying to make 2022 the year of independence. And for sure I hope to get inspired here and get to know some of you better. Looking for a lot of fun and learning. 🥳

  44. 1

Hello, it's me Grab the apk owner Zain. I am here to spread knowledge of what is being learned and what should I learn more.

  45. 1

Hi, I'm Sowrov and a 19 years old boy who wants to make a business around the web development field. I'm a front end developer and have the ability to create full-stack web applications And I'm here to get inspiration, strategy, ideas to create my dream business

  46. 1

    Hey everyone! (long read)

I've been a long-term listener, and even joined a few years ago, but now I am happy to be apart! (again!)

    • I'm a estudiante de Español, find me on DuoLingo or Pimsleur

    • A Scuba Diver, just dove some cenotes in Tulum,MX

    • Gravel Rider, this June, I'll be riding the Unbound XL Gravel Event, and in less than six short months, I'll shred my tires to the tune of 350 EPIC MILES(!) on the sun-baked gravel in the heart of the Flint Hills, Kansas. For 35 hours, I'll challenge myself, inspire myself — and, let’s be honest, I'll probably downright hate myself. But, not to worry. I believe in myself, and with your help, we can conquer this unmatched off-road challenge and help support The American Cancer Society, whose mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer - Raiseyourway.donordrive.com/participant/UnboundXL

    • Snow Sporter, hopeful for a few more ski-runs! What about a Strava for snowmobiles!

    • Travel Addict, just came back from Mexico, with plans for Portugual in the Srping.

    • Runner, not by choice, but it keeps me fit I guess!

and lastly, but not least! I'm a Public Education Educator - and this is where I want to use my "day-job" as my influence for a new app/website/course to help others! I teach/offer close to 13 courses (Business Math, Accounting I, BUS 104 - Personal Finance (Thru Jefferson Community College), Career and Financial Management, College Finance/Prep, International Business, Intro to Entrepreneurship, Intro to Investing, Intro to Web Design, Game Design, Current Events, Intro to Marketing, and Leadership) at our rural high school in Northern, NY and teach minimally a combination of 6 of the courses each semester. I'm a "Jake-of-all-trades" and a master of none, so I want to see if I can duplicate my efforts and turn my knowledge, lesson-plans, courses, etc. into something that can help the world!

  47. 1

    Hi indie hackers!

Being an entrepreneur also means being lonely quite often. I came to indie hackers to exchange ideas, share my experiences, make valuable connections and learn from failures.

I'm from Vienna, Austria and building a WebApp that allows you to upload images and videos to get privacy sensitive information like faces protected fully automatically.

The idea for blurry.ai came to me when I was recording videos for my youtube channel. It was really difficult to record without violating gdpr or privacy. The editing effort was huge. I searched for an automated tool to solve this but didn't find any.

I am looking forward to exchange my story with you and I am excited to read about yours as well!

    Regards
    Alex

Whoa! blurry.ai looks awesome Alex! I'm going to keep that in mind when making cycling videos!

      1. 1

Hi Jake! Thanks a lot for your feedback. I just shared it with the team and it made them happy. Would love if you share problems you encounter when recording your cycling videos. :)

    Hi everybody!

I'm a software developer based in London, I've been working with start-ups for years in increasingly leader-ish roles, but I've long held a not-so-secret ambition to launch a product myself.

I actually joined this community years ago on the recommendation of a bootcamp student I was coaching, but at the time I didn't feel I really had the time available to commit to building something.

I also had an irrational and unacknowledged fear of sharing my work - I have had side projects in the past but I've never quite felt ready to open them up to the wider public, and this is something I am actively trying to get past. I recently shared my current project (a kind of mindful productivity app) with my LinkedIn network despite it being only half-baked and I'm really looking forward to learning how to take things to the next level.

As someone who is always working on being more productive, I hope to see this come to light!

    Hey friends and Indie Hackers
I'm so glad to have found this community and I am very excited to share and receive ideas from everyone in this community.
I am a first year B.Tech student majoring in CSE and would like to start something of my own in the coming months. I am here to explore my creativity and create value!

Hey everyone! I'm happy to be here and can't wait to explore. I'm deeming 2022 as the 'Year of Independence'. My goals include:

    • Launch 1 paid product Q1
    • Launch 3-7 revenue streams all year
    • 10-25k MRR by EOY
    • Make friends with 3 entrepreneurs

I started this morning, so it seems like a fitting day to join indie hackers. I'll share all my progress here, follow along for updates, and get in touch if you see anything interesting!

Hi all! I'm Jeffrey, I'm a 4th year Management Engineering student at the University of Waterloo. I've always had the urge to start a meaningful side project that produces real value, so I'm glad to have found a community of people that look to do the same.

    Hello everyone,

My name is Frankie and I’m building a social network to match people’s careers with their passions. I’m originially from Baltimore, MD, but now I live in LA.

I’m here to learn how to be the best founder I can be, build a team and help my startup gain momentum. My big goal for this year is to reach product market fit. We have tested one idea, but we’re transitioning to another one for 2021. Reach out if you’d like to learn more.

    Good luck to everyone!

  62. 1

Hey Fellow Hackers! My name is Mark and I'm from Berlin 🐻. My goal for 2022 is to produce a niche software product that can (at least potentially) be a source of side income for me while I continue to work full time. My two main criteria for pursuing an idea are that it solves a problem that I'm experiencing, and that it has real usage outside of just me.

This isn't my first rodeo. I was lucky enough to found and operate a relatively successful startup with my business partner for over 7 years before stepping down from my role as CTO. Over the course of my tenure there, the company went through many different phases of growth - some of which made me very excited and happy to work on the project and others that made me stressed and unhappy.

When I was happiest, we were building features directly for our customers. We could have a conversation with a customer about their problems and there were no political roadblocks in the way of solving them. I could witness users interacting with our product first hand and measure its success by the experience that I saw them having. Nothing makes me more excited than seeing someone have a legit good experience with a product I built.

When I felt the worst about our product, we were focusing more on deal making than on finding product-market fit - 'spinning' features, making promises that would be hard to keep, all for the deal.

So, I want to work on something that reminds me of what loved about building products in the first place: solving just one or two simple and real problems, getting and keeping my first users, and bringing an idea to profitability the hard way - one customer at a time.

Looking forward to hustling with y'all :)

    1. 2

reading your intro reminds me of not being alone. Actually i could copy&past it to my current situation. Looking forward to hear how it went for you.

      1. 1

Thanks Good Dr! I'm making decent progress. I have my idea fleshed out with a working prototype. Based on feedback from close friends in the target market, I still need to polish up the mobile experience, add some more explainer / marketing material, and maybe add one more feature that seems to be a must before launching it on indie hackers. But on the whole it looks good and works well. The real challenge this month has been peeling away enough time to work on it.

Hey guys, I am Tayyar from Turkey. After I had got a Bogazici University, which is a top-tier state university in Turkey, I felt like courses or other academic things are not my desire. I have been lookin around to know what my passion is and still I do. I realize that helping others and creating valuable products is satisfying me like nothing does. I want to enrich myself with you all and indihacker.com to enable my goals achievable.

Hi Indie hackers! 👋 I am a product designer at a product start-up studio based in Pune.

I wear several hats during the product cycle from blue sky discovery and research to UX and testing. Off late I have been trying to learn how to reach out to more users and grow the business.

    Hey folks,

I've been reaching out a good community to transfer good idea into awesome product and luckily I'm to be here with you!

I'm a iOS developer from Vietnam. I'm here a looking a new idea to build a good pet project 👓. Beside that I hope I can learn something new from you guys!

If you need any support from me dont hesitate to reach out me. :)

    1. 1

Hi Zack! My two cents - avoid the cleshè dog walker app marketplace. The meat of those apps is challenging business stuff, not fun app stuff.

Maybe try something like a pet watcher webcam app for the iPad 🤷‍♂️. Many people have ipads just lying around the house. Just open an app and turn it into a camera that watches your pet.

Alternative pitch: Onlyfish! Its like only fans but for your goldfi... you know what, try the webcam thing.

Hey, IHs. My name is Blaze and am based in the US. I'm interested in solving the world's most pressing problems. I'd like to learn how to do this myself and turn that knowledge into a product/course/community.

    1. 2

Hi Blaze nice to meet you. Curious to know more about the kind of problems you'd like to solve. I often get into a troubled mind-set that I am solving for smaller problems while we have a looming climate crisis and grave inequalities. Let me know if you want to talk sometime.

      1. 1

Hey @joshirucha, yeah I think it would be cool to talk more about this with you.

I'm pretty early on in the journey so right now I'm still exploring. @csallen wrote a good article on finding good problems to solve HERE which talks about how 'unsolved problems' are often that way because they're unimportant and how most big problems are pretty well known. Here's a short article with a few notes on looking at world problems from a non-profit HERE. I'll be taking the approach of learning a field or two in emerging tech and combining that with a few other things like utilizing consulting frameworks to better solve problems.

        1. 1

This is a great approach. Thanks for sharing

    2. 1

Hi Blaze! Have you thought at all about Democracy on the block chain? Not just voting, but implementing laws or allocating budgets in DAPS? I'm sure there are already many people working on the problem set, but it seems like if Democracy were more with the people and less influenced by wealthy interests that bankroll campaigns, many hard problems like the growing wage gap, global warming, and the incoming inflation issues would be prioritized and solved. Just my two cents 🤷‍♂️.

  72. 1

Hello everybody :) I'm Eduard, from Barcelona. 8 years ago I co-founded Nautal, an Airbnb for boats. I've been in charge of product and now that the company has been sold, I would love to help other entrepreneurs achieve amazing results. If you need something related to product, here I am!

Hi there! My name is Pablo, I'm a Software Engineer, and I love to create. I want to build what matters, create, and I have tried in the past and I have failed, and I learn and try again, and now I am looking to grow up, get and develop ideas and make the difference. Happy to be here!

  74. 1

    Hi All,

Glad to join the community, and learn about what everyone is doing to create success.

    I'm in Montreal, Canada.

I'm building a site to provide eCommerce stores data on products that may be deeply discounted and a good deal to resell.

  75. 1

    Hey fellow Indie Hackers!
I'm currently working on a fintech app which might well be the next Revolut.

To say Indie Hackers is a great community would be an understatement. IH is insanely awesome! The most vibrant place ever.

Can't wait to connect, folks 🤗

  76. 1

Hi all, I'm Gerardo. Working remotely from Costa Rica.

I've been helping building start-ups, both in the US and Latin America. I'm currently working for a Canadian company and looking to share some knowledge to help engineers and entrepreneurs in Latin America grow through helpful content soon.

Pretty excited about being part of this awesome community.

  77. 1

I am beginning to learn code. My first motivation is to create things, simple things that I need like Writer. Apart from this, I want to create my own SAS.

Previously I was a co-founder at two Edtechs called named Pio. la and Oja. la, but those died the years ago and, now I think, that things had been different if I have known a community like Indie Hackers.

Now for me is more very clear that I don´t need to create a Unicorn for success because I can be freer and have less pressure with my own SAS...

So, I to say thank you for all the posts and comments in this Community. And I hope to share good content too! 💪

  78. 1

👋 Hey Indie Hackers, I am Daniel, product manager at airgram.io.

I have 5 years experiences of building productivity product. I hear Indie Hackers from a post of Janel in Product Hunt, and she invited me to join this community ( thanks her again 😊 ).

I am so exciting to join you here. Airgram is at early stage, I want to learn how to make Airgram a profitable product and share my experiences of how to building a product.

Hope I can do my part of the job to make this community better! Lets' do this together! 🚀

Hi everyone! I'm an Node.js and Laravel developer. I'm looking for someone to build some amazing stuff together.

  83. 1

    Hello, my dear friends!
I am Nilan, your dear friend from the Land of spices.[I can feel your mouth watering ;)]
I am a teen student(don't worry, definitely not under 13) who's interested in building SaaS(or IaaS or PaaS, depending on the idea) applications and also founding my own ventures(with those ideas obviously).

I don't currently have an idea(that I can build myself) but I am interested in learning to code. But it seems like I keep fighting a losing battle with no passion projects that I can think of(that I can build myself, at least while getting started, without having a thousand people working on it.) and constantly losing motivation.

Can anyone tell me what your motivation was when you were learning to code? And how did you overcome any obstacles in the path(not $PATH)?

Can someone tell me if this comment was good and if the overall expression is good for a blog? Would you seriously read it?

  84. 1

    Hello indie hackers!

My name is Ken (24 years old) from Malaysia. I'm glad that I've found this awesome community and I'm so excited to join you all on this journey. Let's build something great together!

My goal is to say "good bye" to my 9-5 jobs and work on the things I love. I'm a Sales Manager at an e-commerce company where usually I work for more than 10 - 12 hours daily for the job. Often times, I would have 2 - 3 hours left to work on my side project after work. I'm deciding whether to quit the job and work full time on the project.

Anyways, glad that I've found this community, looking forward to share more about my journey will you all.

  85. 1

Hi everyone! I've been meaning to say hello and join for a while. I am trying to make a career change, going from teaching preschool to UI/UX design! I learned a little bit of frontend, and now I am now working through a course trying to build up my design portfolio. My friend and I have recently started talking about putting an app together so I'd love feedback, support along the way here =) I look forward to meeting and connecting with folks in this community!

    Hi Indie Hackers!

    I'm Emma, Co-Founder @ GrowthPound.com

I help SaaS entrepreneurs, CEOs and founders reach and go beyond £1Million annual recurring revenue in 12 months or less (without having to take funding or waste money on paid ads)!

My co-founder and I created and battle-tested our method that's grown some of the fastest-growing startups on the planet.

We were fed up with seeing so many amazing ideas and incredible founders fail because they couldn't generate enough revenue quickly and retain it!

So, we quit or high flying SaaS Sales & Customer careers so we could help more entrepreneurs reach financial freedom and make a positive impact on the world.

I'm super excited to meet like-minded entrepreneurs and help the community where I can :-)

I've been a long time lurker at indie hackers, I love growth bytes and breath startups for Lunch!

I recently switched companies and was shocked to see the huge number of meetings I face on a day to day basis!

    Hi Hackers,

I'm a software engineer. I've been interested to work on a pet project for a long time now, but haven't got a chance to start on it.

Hope to meet like-minded persons and build new stuff together.

    Hi indie hackers!

I have a degree in computer science but have been out of the tech world for a bit now. So I use my time to work on my own project! It truly is exciting to be amonst individuals equally as passionate about making their own tech. I'm Glad to have found this place!

  94. 1

    Hi All

I built an email forwarding service ( https://mailphantom.io ) , which I though was going to be the hard part.

But it turns out that making it a business and getting people to see your vision is much much harder.

I hope I can learn from this community and turn this side project into a full time indie hacker gig.

🎉 Here's to quitting my job soon 🤞

    ^C

  95. 1

Hello indiehackers, I've been looking for a community like this for months.
By the way my name is Gonçalo and I'm Portuguese, hope to make new indie friends and help business to happen :)

  96. 1

Hello to all of indie hackers out there!

I'm Stepan from Ukraine. I created a bunch of web projects starting from 2004. Some of them were financially successful most of them weren't. Lately, I'm just working as a developer with a high salary but still, it's not the same. I can't stop wanting to get back to making my own things.

I am more of a tech than a business kind of guy. I guess that's why most of my projects failed. Maybe I will found a business-minded cofounder here for my next venture.

Like many commented here before me, I searched for such communities in the past, found a couple of more or less dead cofounder search sites and that's all. Then I heard about this site on "Startups for the rest of us".

Looks really promising would love to get to know more indie hackers!

  97. 1

    Hey Everyone -

I am super excited to join the IndieHackers community!

What are some groups that are good to check out to get a feel for how to contribute and connect?

    Hey Everyone,

I'm Charlie from Ireland. I'm so happy I found this group I've been looking for something like this for so long where everyone is trying to help each other with their side hustles. I have my own startup consultancy on the side that is one on one professional interview coaching, cv editing and Linkedin editing. I also sell an online course around these 3 topics.

I am looking to start a Mastermind Group where entrepreneurs that are running businesses meet up in a group once per month and discuss their startups, with everyone pitching in to help each other. It is usually a group of 5 people and everyone gets their turn to talk about the struggles they are facing with their business, with the others pitching in with their solutions.

If anyone would be interested, then drop me a message, i'd love to connect to try and help each other with our businesses.

    Charlie

It's such a joy to run into a community as this! Hi, I am Ben from India. I work as a product manager and want to build a side project that can become a potential business. I am particularly interested in the creator/passion economy and believe that ecosystem will need a lot of solutions to bring efficiency. I also am curious about the D2C explosion and believe new brands will need 'consumer-grade' SaaS solutions to run their businesses efficiently. I am keen on meeting like minded folks (if you're an engineer or designer, do hit me up). Look forward to learning and growing with the nice folks here.
    Cheers!
    Ben

My friend recommended me this community after telling him I am about to start a Startup. I learned a lot about entrepreneurship and built +40 websites in my lifetime most of them are faillures. I work primarily on SEO, I know something about everything and would like to build something big everyone will benefit from.

Hi, I have been lurking IH since 2016. Finally started a blog https://auntyshout.com/ and keep writing on that about productivity, youtube video ideas, real life international experiences, startup ideas both mobile and web based. Joined IH to get suggestions, learn from seniors, experts, like-minded peoples.

Glad to meet you, thanks for reading. :)

I just established a personal website www.lelinta.com, I hope I can learn from the big guys. If necessary, I can help the big guys to Chineseize their business. After all, China’s Internet market is also very Almost the largest of all individual countries

Hi 👋, I'm Seth and I've been a long time Indie Hacker's reader but I'm finally taking steps to get more involved and accelerate my learning through the community.

I'm a software engineer in London and I'm looking for something to build that I can call my own. I've started and toyed with a lot of ideas but I'm hoping some more accountability will be a motivator.

I look forward to learning from everyone and contributing back to this community 😀

Currently evaluating few ideas in the data & analytics space. Would love to chat with others from the community.

    He11o World!

Simon here. I aspire to be an indie hacker. It's a far fetched goal however I have set my sights on it. My first aim is to be able to code. Really glad to have found this community. It's good to know of a place where like-minded people is willing to share thoughts, experience and pointers.

Despite all I say however, I still lack the necessary hardware(laptop/PC) to begin learning Phyton.

Btw, I just heard from a friend Phyton is a good place to start. He said if I can't learn Phyton basically any other language is just a no go. Any thought?

  125. 1

Hello Rosie, Thank you for the automated yet warm welcome. I am going to follow your advice 🤗

  126. 1

Hey everyone. I'm Krzysztof and I am a web-developer with a passion for analytics.

It's really nice to be here and a part of this group. I hope we can all share experience and be of help to one another.

As for my goals for 2020, I hope that by the end of the year I will be able to make living on my Wordpress plugin. Until then I will do freelance work (so the same I've been doing for the last 10 years).

  127. 1

    Hey All,

Lawyer turned entrepre-something. Currently doing marketing, partnerships, strategy and a little of a lot of other stuff at Gravity Legal.

Excited to learn from this community - and contribute whatever I can.

  136. 1

    Hey Indie Hackers!

I am a 25 year old software developer who is passionate about using code and technology to remove or reduce inefficiencies in everyday life. I have about three years of experience with web development. I'm still learning new things, but I have more than enough skills to build and deploy a product (albeit an MVP) right now.

I joined Indie Hackers because I wanted to learn and network. I wanted to learn about how to better come up with ideas or at least how to determine whether the idea is good or not. I wanted to meet other like-minded individuals, who may be interested in starting a business together and are hungry and driven.

Nonetheless, I look forward to chatting and maybe I'll be able to find someone through here to start a business with someday!

      Hi davin. Simon from Malaysia.
Glad to have found this community too. Hope you are well.

      1. 1

Hi Simon, that's crazy, I thought I may have written that I was heading back to Malaysia in this post which is why you replied, but it's just a coincidence it seems!

        1. 1

Lol. To be honest, I just replied to a random post that I agreed with. Urm, heading back to Malaysia? Do we know each other?

          1. 1

I don't think so, that's why I thought it was interesting haha

            1. 1

I'm not sure is this against indiehacker's policy but if you ever wanna hit me up/brainstorm. My social media handler is simonszetho.

  137. 1

Hey indie hackers! I've been looking for a community like this for a while and could not be more happy to have found it. For any of the entrepreneurs out there, if you're interested in working with college students, I set up a website to facilitate remote internships at startups (levawork.com). As a student myself, I have seen the immense impact that working at a startup has had on my education and hope to give many other students the same experience. If you're interested in posting remote paid or unpaid internships, please check out levawork.com. Sorry for the promotion, but I feel as though a lot of founders could benefit from working with students!

hello friends of the indie hacker community!

Currently I am working on a new product (Paperless is the new generation of e-signature workflow) and I am looking for a community to exchange ideas, feedback and advice.

I would also like to make my contribution and share my experiences in marketing, sales and entrepreneurship with you.

So let's get in contact together!

    1. 2

I agree to the whole paperless concept. A lot of invoices or receipts can be generated automatically now. As most of just just throw away the bunched up receipts in out bag or wallet or pocket then only realizing that we need it later on during tax filing or what not.
What vision do you have in mind?

      1. 1

Aspiring to be the go-to solution for frictionless digital document and e-signature workflows for every business. This is our vision

  145. 1

I'm a coder from Germany, looking for new projects

  146. 1

    Hey Indie Hackers,

I've been following for more than a year, but only now did it occur to me to actually create an account and start talking 😅

I'm a software engineer and teacher from Bucharest, Romania. I teach kids to code and I instruct other engineers on how to work with Scala, Akka and Apache Spark at Rock the JVM.

    Looking forward to talking soon!

    Hello fellow indie hackers,

Really excited to be here. I am tech enthusiast, currently working to bring innovation in the cyber security industry. Soon releasing our own product, a security tool to detect security vulnerabilities.

  148. 1

Thank you for the guidance. Helped a lot.

  149. 1

Hello Indie Hackers, I am from Arizona, working as software engineer aspiring to be an entrepreneur. I have been searching for community like this where I can learn from similar growth oritented people.

Especially planning to find few partners to pair up so I can learn the process of startup in better way. Penning down about me and my interests so I can find better match to work together.

I have experience mostly on backend programming using Java, python, JavaScript. In addition as someone who always like to be on top of latest technology developments, took few Coursera courses on ML/DL to keep myself up to date in this space though no real experience doing this.

Other than my programming day job and AI/ML learnings, I closely follow markets. If I’m given a chance to go back in my career, probably Entrepreneurship/Technical Analysis & trading is what I would choose.

I recently read somewhere that we need to design our life for at least 3 life’s instead of one.

In my case that would be -
    - Keep doing and continue excelling my day job.
    - Trading with Technical Analysis.
    - Entrepreneurship.

Coming to my weaknesses- procrastination is the biggest one. but once I start doing, generally hustle towards it irrespective of what comes in my way.

Looking forward to learn more from this wonderful community of innovators.

I'm new to this place, just found out about IH a few days ago, by a fellow IH 😁
I am looking forward to learning from others and as well to share my side project, which is a UI/UX design pattern library. I hope that this will help designers getting an idea of best design practices, that are being used by top tech companies or/and when they are stuck solving a similar design problem. I welcome any feedback. 🙌

    Hi Everyone!

My name is Florian, I live in Paris (France) and I'm excited to join this community.

I'm working on a new project called https://www.datablist.com which is an automation platform. Unlike Zapier, I think next level automation can only be done with a consolidated data view. So I build a generic data storage to manage any kind of objects (Contact, Employee, Order, Invoice, etc.) and a system to run serverless applications to interact with this data and automate processes.

I'm at the beginning and I hope to exchange ideas and feedbacks on automation and the future of work in a digitalised and automated world 🤙

    1. 1

      Hey Florian,
this sounds like an exciting project, I will take a look at it :)

      1. 1

Thx @TonnyTonni, I like yours too. I have a whole folders of screenshots of my competitors and websites I like. Having a tool with already screenshots of account pages, onboarding, etc. could save me time 👍

  164. 1

    Hey all,

I heard about IH from a friend and was happy to find this amazing community.

I'm here to share my journey but i know I have a lot to learn as well from entrepreneurs with Indie Hackers attitude. 😁

I'm from Sweden but living in Dubai and I have been working on a new project that helps
startups and small businesses to submit tasks and micro projects instantly which are completed by ambitious graduates under mentorship from our mentors.

Education has been a passion for me for a long time and I wanted to create something that really impacts many people.

    Hi all,
Antonio from Barcelona. Really nice to meet you all.
I will posts my interests and current personal projects here. If someone is doing something similar or is just interested, contact me!
I love Software Engineering and in particular building software products: frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure on AWS (I'm in love with Serverless right now).
Other interests are: Signal Processing, Neuroscience, Space, Philosophy and AI.

I am currently doing 3 personal projects:

    • First is a Brain Computer Interface using OpenBCI. My idea is to control a drone with the mind using EEG, and/or with the eyes using EOG. I am quite close to close the loop using Python, Timeflux library, Flask/serverless and a Tello drone. It would be nice to collaborate if someone is interested.
    • Second is a RC Car with autonomous driving. Using Raspberry Pi, Raspberry camera, openCV, and a really simple Flask app.
    • Third is learning greek philosophy and sciences. I started from the beginning, reading presocratics fragments and I already spent almost 1 year reading the whole Plato's bibliography. Learning about first principles of geometry, physics, metaphysics, rethorics, politics, etc.

If someone interested in the same topics, please comment and let's talk :)
    Best,

    Antonio

    Sup Indie Hackers!

My name is Paul and I'm creating a hardware product with my business partner that allows users to lift dumbbells with their feet the same way they can with their hands. We are close to launching the product publicly for pre-orders, so I'm super excited to soak up as much knowledge as possible from everyone!

Thanks for creating such an awesome community, grateful to be a part of it!

  179. 1

    Hey fellow hackers!
My name is Vitaly and I'm the co-founder and CEO of Kelp.app - visual development platform for data apps.
My passion is design, data and robots ;) Im excited to join the community! Learning from so many talented people here is precious. I will be also sharing my experience and helping with anything I can.

    1. 1

Nice project! Do you copy the data on your servers or do you fetch it in real time?

      1. 1

Thanks! No data is stored on Kelp servers. Its BYOB (bring your own backend). We provide a secure Data Gateway that makes the calls to secure APIs on behalf of your app. If you interested just let me know I will give you an account.

And now trying to combine all of these interests in a single place, my Blog where I write about FrontEnd Programming and General Discussions in Software Development

Some article require video tutorials and there I try to record some and publish.

You can check my blog at Time to Hack

I would love to connect with others here and discuss about different topics

    Hello Team,

I am Sandeep Thakur, an online business consultant.
I would really appreciate it if you can share your queries with me related starting an online business.

    Thanks

    Hey everyone!

I have been listening to IH podcast for quite a while now and I felt it's time to join the community.

I am from London, England and building a business that helps people remember what they read, watch and listen to.

I realised that I had read 15 business/self-help books last year, but I remember nothing. I was chasing a number, reading just in case I would need the information someday.

This turned out to be a massive waste of time and money. Now I am on the mission to help others like me - read less, but with purpose.

I am excited to join this community, share my learnings ( I had a small business before, burned out, failed) and get feedback.

    Peace!

  190. 1

    Hai!

I come from brainwashing academic background (cognitive science, applied psychology, HR management) and I got into coding some time ago to be able to build things instead of trying to get a coder on board as first step of everything.

Currently, and for a while, I'm working on a problem of 'people having repetitive conversations'. I'm on... 3rd big iteration of 'core' behaviour loop, trying to get it to not suck ^^ I hope to get it done and see what still doesn't work.

  191. 1

    Hello everyone!

I found this community few months ago while randomly browsing the web.
Since then, I enjoy reading articles on here while commuting and leisure time.
I've learned a lot from these indiehackers who shared many experiences on their journey of launching a startup.

Thanks for your sharing and kindness!

For myself, I am an amateur Android developer.
I'm working my side-project of a time management app recently.
It just launch recently, and I'm looking for more beta users!
If you're interested, feel free to let me know :)

    Nice to meet you all!

  192. 1

    Hello Hackers!

I'm excited to have found this community! I'm joining now as I start a new adventure into building my own product. I have spent the last 5 years working for different tech startups as a Product Designer and Front-End Developer.

This year I have been working on one of the largest work projects I have ever had and began managing a team of very talented designers. Through some connections at work I became friends with my co-founder, another designer who has his own agency. We connected on many things outside of design and tech, like podcasts, and Studio Ghibli films. Earlier this year I ran my most current product idea by him, just for some casual feedback, but we kept chatting about it for months, to the point that I knew I had found a partner in this project.

So now we are starting development on our MVP, and starting to gather feedback and interest before we launch, hopefully early next year.

If anyone is interested we are building a community for creators to sell their work and build a fanbase, you can take a quick survey at https://www.blursocial.com/ if that sounds interesting to you

Hello everyone, Richard here from Dubai. Well, from Australia but now I live in the Middle East.

Together with my wife and other partners we attempted different projects that didn't really turned out the way we wanted to. Had a small success in building a community, but after a sour and toxic relationship with the other members of the team we've divorced two of them - including the CEO.

"And then there were three" - as the title of one the Genesis albums says :) ...so three of us working on new ventures.

We feel that the corona-times might potentially help us to create something out of ordinary.

I'm here to learn from others and share with those who need help. I've grown a thick skin over time and will be very happy to let others know how to stay resilient, despite all the odds that might come our way.

Hope to speak to many of you soon.

Hello Rosie!! I'm new to the online Business community, and extremely exciting to share what I have. Which is a "NEW" worldwide business platform (totally FREE) that anyone with a business can promote "THEIR" Business and SIMULTANEOUSLY earn money based on their growth, communications! Think of it like a Facebook business group page where people share business promotions and the company PAYS THEM as they grow their group (unlike F.B.) AND it simultaneously ties their online apps into one system that you send out a post in that system, and it goes to FB, linkin, Instagram, etc.etc. It cuts your promotion time in half and you earn on everyone that joins you and below!! NO MLM!...LOL

I just listened a Product Hunt Radio podcast on Indihackers and figured this is probably what I've been looking for long.

I'm a software engineer with tons of experience on backend engineering and looking to share ideas, collaborate with fellow indiehackers!

  211. 1

Hi guys, I have been searching for a guide on how best to build an MVP (not a coder) & validate my startup idea. So many lists came up, but I think the description accompanying Indie Hackers mostly drives my quest home.

So I am here to Learn how to build an MVP without codes (using every available app).

I am concerned about the impact, the efforts, the things we create daily, they are the chronicles of the future generation. We are a universe of micro communities fused together, the better we make our own community, the better for our planet.

I am a Nigerian. And we are not fraudsters.

  212. 1

wow , Am excited to be part of this community. Am in for a lot of experience, idea sharing and connections.

I'm building a reference website and need some help with constructing it. I'm looking for partners, coders and ideas! Hey amazing folks,

I grew up in a small city and internet/ books helped me to connect with like minded people. This has been the case since yahoo groups and IRC. I run an adventure travel where I myself occasionally lead high altitude treks and other days I run growth experiments for startups. I love automation and how it frees us from sitting in front of laptop. I feel we are living more than in those same 24 hours given to everybody.

Looking forward to interact with lots of you

    cheers

  230. 1

    nice to meet you!

  231. 1

    Hi Indie Hackers!

I have been longing to find a community like this. Glad to have found you.

    Thanks.

  232. 1

    Hey everyone 👋

My name is Will and I've been a fan of the podcast and the site for a few years now. I haven't posted much in the past but I've decided to change that and engage more.

I've always loved building things which is what drew me to coding in the first place. I've been a software engineer professionally for about seven years now and have built little things on the side from time to time. Recently I've been working on this project called SuccessFund. It's a tool that helps schools raise more money online and you can think of it like GoFundMe for education. It's still pretty small but will hopefully grow over time

Excited to get to know all of you more and become a part of the IH community 😃

  233. 1

    Hi Indie Hackers!

I joined a few months ago, but this is my first post. I'm a developer based in LA and I'm building a powerful cyber security tool for individuals. Been working on MVP and I'm hoping we'll be ready for a launch in the next month or so. I currently have around 20 friends beta testing it.

I'm really looking forward to learning from everyone, in particular I need help with marketing and positioning of our product.

    -Amir

    Hi Everyone,

This site is really great. I've followed digitalnomads, hackernews, and producthunt for years, but had no idea this site existed. Glad your here! I'm working on a side project called buyagain.co, it makes it easy for returning buyers on an ecommerce site to checkout (versus having to to put their credit card in each time). Looking forward to showing everyone more progress over the next few weeks.

  235. 1

    Hey IH!

Nice to meet you all, my name is Michael. I've been in Silicon Valley for a while now and just recently got serious about hacking on the side. I've always been doing stuff solo so it's great to find a community of other people creating stuff as well :)

I recently launched a project called CreatorCast.tv (https://www.creatorcast.tv/) which is a place to discover indie, sketch comedy creators. I did the design and programming myself, but I'm looking to partner up with someone! In addition to teaching myself coding + design I've been on the business side of internet content creation for the last 5 years so I can partner with anyone's skill set :)

  236. 1

    Hello fellow hackers!

I have been at my current company for last 5 years. But it is getting boring, I have interviewed at other big companies but they don't really excite and I have talked with several smaller and startups. And I felt they didn't want to hire me probably because of my age.

So I am thinking about quitting my job and do my own thing. I am not sure what though.

  237. 1

thanks @rosiesherry I'm ritesh I a hybrid application developer and I joined this community by reading a post in Dev.to community and when i came here to see I like the content and the knowledge I get from it, so looking forward to learn something new from and thanks for welcoming me.:)

Hi, I am Santosh. Very new to the digital entrepreneur world but very enthusiastic to learn, understand and create. Having travelled the world in the capacity of airline crew and tour manager I have developed an extensive connect with great people associated with tourism industry and I want to bring all this and much more to the table to develop a platform for suppliers to be able to showcase their travel related products to B2B partners as well as the end consumers. Excited to get insights and hopefully partner with other co-founder/s with similar interests.

    Hey all,

I've lurked around on IH, Twitter and Reddit for a long time but am keen to be more active and open to the scene.

I am a developer but always thinking of ways to produce content on the side with the intent to build something of my own, around something I care about. Pushing out endless tickets for other people's dreams gets tiresome!

    Hey hackers,

    Hi everyone!

I'm so excited have found this community and I can't wait to start sharing ideas, making connections, and asking questions.

Hi All! So great to be part of this community! I'm Shani Majer, founder of Will 2 Click (www.will2click.com). Prior I worked at a fintech startup and before a VC. I live and grew up in Brooklyn, NY and I love meeting cool people from all over the world. I drink too much coffee, eat too much chocolate and listen to just enough Kpop.
    Great to meet you all!

Just found this site through a Medium article on how to find a technical co-founder.

Hoping to possibly hook up with someone else of like mindedness to help me put the finishing touches on a product I've been working on for the last couple of years and is almost ready for launch.

    Hi,

Chris here from STASIS. STASIS (www.stasis.supply) is focused on making health and wealth information easy to obtain, entertaining and understandable through a weekly newsletter. I source information from all over the web and a handful of contributors but would love to meet more people with similar interests or newsletters in the space doing similar things.

If you want to check it out head to the site and sign up. I'd love to hear any and all feedback.
