This is so good, this software can hep me a lot and i am so glad that i found it. It helps us to make more secure and durable. So much to learn from Indie Hackers, IH podcasts, the interviews and the community. A breath of fresh air from the 'traditional' startup talk (glorified VC funded startups). I love what IH is becoming. Moving the forum front and center was a great idea. I love all the content, but the community is why I keep coming back.

Hello, I am new as well and very excited about finding this place. I am a “hobby” developer and I’ve been working professionally in marketing/sales at a 15+ million yearly revenue SaaS company for 6+ years. Now planning to start my own SaaS business. I hope to meet some interesting people here and learn a lot of new things!

I've been a lurker ever since I stumbled upon IH in 2016, and I finally went through and created an account because I'll spent the next to months not simply to dabble in tech entrepreneurship projects of my own but also to research the IH way of doing things as part of my masters thesis.

If anyone knows about qualitative or quantitative research/ (scraped) datasets in regards to IH projects or can help me with hints in regards of terminology to describe what we all are doing here (web-based micro-startups? lifestyle businesses? don't seem to be well-known terms in academia) that would be highly appreciated.

I'm Cal, a data scientist, and was introduced to IndieHackers by a friend after I shared a project I've been working on for some time. It's a platform to allow people to analyze different domains of personal data and provide greater context. Starting off, I have focused on one domain, reading books, leverage data and export capabilities from Goodreads. I have built a pipeline to scrape data fields, lookup author information, and create interesting charts and maps. I am working to scale this into a web service.

Yes I think you need to continue this project because there are so many new things that I read here. I am also working on discord fonts you can see here.

I have a couple collection accounts that I want to get removed. I was going through a divorce and lost track of certain bills/paper work. Also, I have completed student loan rehabilitation on my six student loans that went into default. I have been making on time payments with the new provider but the old loans still remain as closed/transferred with the negative payment history on them. Shouldn’t they be deleted since the same loans are now with a new loan provider? It is essentially duplicated reporting them, right? I am planning on getting married in a couple years and want to buy a house with my current girlfriend and with this stuff on my report I fear I won’t be able to do this.
