What are the platforms that you use to find projects?

Hey Freelancers,

What are the most common platform for finding projects? I am sure Upwork is one of the major source for freelancing projects. But beside Upwork what other platforms you use or have found success.

I tried Fiverr, PPH and Freelancer but with zero success. I have found most of my projects from Guru, friends recommendation, facebook groups and LinkedIn. Recently I tried posting some offers on r/forhire and got a good response. Got around 10 inquiries and took 3 projects in the last 1 month.

Any other place where we can look for contracts?

If you have good response from guru / fb / recommendations and Linkedin, it should be a sign for you to focus more on those platforms. Instead of jumping to 15 why not optimise time and stick with those which work for you? Search deeper, adjust your profiles, post value, and knowledge regularly so your potential clients can be sure who they're about to trust.
