What do you think of this "Welcome email" copy?

When a user first signs up for my newsletter at https://nextjsnotes.com, I'm going to send them this.

Right now my flow looks like this:

  1. Enter name (optional) and email (required)
  2. Double opt-in (confirmation email)
  3. Send the new "welcome email" here
  4. ???
  5. Profit 🤑

What do you normally try to send in your "welcome emails"?

Is this a good welcome email copy?
  1. 🎉 Yes
  2. 🙅‍♂️ No
  3. Idk?

Hey Drew, I really like the first section (before the Get Started); it's concise, gives your customer an idea of what to expect and what to be excited for. I would suggest extracting the section after getting started to its own web page, where you just include a link within the email for them to visit where they get their getting started section.

That's my 2 cents, its what I would recommend, which means you or others may disagree.
Hope this helps and good luck!
