What do you use for server-side metrics/analytics?

Hey all, question is basically the title. I just want to do some simple counting and time series graphing. Any services out there that'll do the job? I use Plausible for client-side metrics and like how simple it is, so I'm wondering if there are similar solutions for backend metrics.

If you don't have fancy needs and can go with something really crude, you could use Node-Red. I have done so in the past. Running both Node-Red and app server on the same host, I just sent/parsed metrics using UDP from app to Node-Red and used dashboards to display stats. It was basic but did the job.

If you don't know Node-Red, look it up, even if it doesn't fit your use case, it's an awesome open-source project that is so under-used. Yet it has tremendous power.
