Normally my reading list is made up of whatever happens to be on my coffee table. But lately I've been trying to be more organized with the work I do and I ended up finding this great notion template.

I'd love to see how you guys organize your reading list, or if it's still a pile of books like I've been used to doing 😂
A long and messy list.
My goal is not to clean everything; when I need a new book, I pick what could help me the most at that point, or what I really want to read.
I think it's important no to stress ourselves to finish all the books in our reading list, like it's not really important to clean all our email inbox. I consider them as stream, like a river. It doesn't have an end, there is always stuff in there, and it's fine like that. Reading should stay a pleasure.
I'm a slow reader as well, mainly because I take a lot of notes. What I'm reading doesn't really stick in my brain, that's why I'm doing that.
I really like what you've got setup. I've been looking to start doing something simliar, because I've been through so many books and I always remember the concepts, but often times forget where they came from. And I feel awful either telling people "sorry, idk where I read it" or "I think it was so and so". And I also agree with the no stress policy. I have no issue buying a book for "later", especially if it's a creator I would like to support (e.g. Binging with Babish). Almost want to frame this response 😂
Thanks! It's difficult to do at the beginning, but now I've a blast writing what I'm reading. It's really another experience than "just" reading.
I love writing too, so it helps I guess.
I've actually started to make the books / podcasts / articles that I need to read items on my Todoist. If it ain't there, it won't make it 😂
100% my motivation. I've spent so much on books that end up going unread. I needed something to keep me a bit more honest in that department
Lots of piles everywhere :(
Physical and digital.
I have no hope left.
At least they look nice 🤷
Yup! lol.
