What happens if I buy this domain and 301 everything to a similar category domain that I'm trying to build up.
I looked through the backlinks and they're all pretty relevant category-wise to what we're trying to build on.
How risky is this for a bump, is there a high chance I'll end up hurting my primary domain?
Or should the strategy be setting the domain up as it originally was and linking to my primary?
Thanks!
John Mueller (Google spokesperson) said more than once that buying expired domains and setting up redirects doesn’t help with ranking.
Also, 8k links, 103 referring domains and a 2.8 DR looks pretty spammy to me.
Thanks, just what I was looking to hear.
Good quality does help to rank better, no matter Google Employees says. But this domain looks spammy.
