What is on your weekly/monthly check list?

Hi guys,

I just started on my own bootstrapped SaaS product (it's B2B, has exactly one customer at the moment.)

Anyway, what I am surprised at the number of things an owner needs to do in a regular and disciplined way just to keep things running smoothly. So I wanted to ask:. I have always found check-lists extremely helpful (see username :) ) and I am curious if anyone here uses daily/weekly/monthly checklists, and is willing to share. And if there is a way to do this more effectively than a checklist, I'm happy to hear suggestions and change my habits!

If it helps others, here's what I have so far:

Monthly:

  • Read at least one article about SaaS growth techniques
  • Check money in bank and balance the "books" (easy with one customer, but there is still paying upwork designers etc.)
  • Talk to at least one potential partner/send email
  • Update goals for next month

Weekly:

  • Spend a few minutes talking to at least one person in my target customer demographic (or at least my guess of it!)
  • Write at least one blog article (haven't done this yet!)
  • Create tasks for next week
  • Find at least one thing to celebrate!

What items are on your list?
Again, thank you everyone for their help!

I typically have one big item. For me this month it's launching an Affiliates program :)

Oh that's an interesting idea! So you just focus on one thing for the whole month? How do you ensure that nothing else is dropped? Or does it not matter in your experience?

Like the idea of one big item. Focus is huge!
