What is the major distraction as a indie hacker?

I started indie hacking some time back and recently realised making friends on twitter and here is miles better than doing it alone. But that causes lots of distraction since I keep checking my phone and the IH tab frequently.

What do you do to organize your day schedule, when no one in watching your back nor any hard deadlines either ?

Thanks for your help in advance 🙏

    I'm trying out:

    • Produce in the mornings (deep focus work), a solid block where I only do one thing that requires a lot of effort.
    • Manage in the afternoon. Marketing, engaging with people, researching niches, setting up meetings etc.

I'm trying the similar approach but my mornings are not deep work for me. I do it in evenings. do you use any app for scheduling ? I've been trying todoist for some time but most of the tasks I just postpone. 😅

I just put it in Google Calendar. :)
