What is the right number of people for an early stage advisory board in cybersecurity? (this is not a customer advisory board)

I am an early stage b2b startup in cybersecurity and I have created an advisory board (with stock options) that meets once per month. The advisors are C-level and Directors in Cybersecurity. I see the advisors as offering technical guidance but also being brand ambassadors to make intros, talk about my company with their peers and promote it on social media.

I've run into an interesting situation where it seems as though lot of people want to join. I know this is probably not the right attitude but I kind of am thinking the more the merrier.

How many people should I have on the advisory board? Also, any other thoughts on what will be a successful advisory board?
