A great article, but I often wonder if there's a missing piece to this.
For many founders (like Gumroad), they "pushed through" P&M fit by staying consistent. Pretty sure there are plenty of founders like that.
Maybe the key is to work with 2-3 significantly different versions/offers of your product and see which one "sticks". Would be curious to hear what other IHers think about this topic...
The Netflix one is fascinating. Instead of changing the product itself, they changed the way its delivered and charged for.

I think @mijustin talked about this in his IH interview about Transistor. If you find something with market pull it just makes everything easier.
So yes, you can try to "push through", but that is going to be harder work than finding something that pulls you along.
