What to Pay Yourself as an Indie Hacker

Hey Indie Hackers,

Assuming that a lifestyle business has a decent amount of revenue coming in, how much should an Indie Hacker founder/solopreneur should pay themselves monthly?

Thanks for sharing your advice and experiences!

What percentage of MRR should be used toward the founder's salary?
  1. 10% to 20%
  2. 20% to 40%
  3. 40% to 60%
  4. 60% to 80%
  5. 80% to 99%
  6. 100%
  7. Nothing. Reinvest everything back into the business.

    Not sure it's about percentages, take what you need to live a comfortable life, then save or reinvest other money.
