What's your favorite tool for design mocks?

I have often opted to simply do design and development in tandem, usually because I can write CSS and HTML faster than I can design.

However, my next project is rather ambitious and I believe designing a mock first may be useful. So, what is your favorite tool for designing web mocks? Sketch? Figma? Something else? Let me know!

Framer. Recommended to me by @jimzarkadas.

Figma is my go to now. Use to be Sketch but I didn't want to renew my license. Figma also has community feature that shows you files and plugins shared by the community.

Figma for sure, as it has better features, plugins

Figma most of the time, but for super simple quick stuff I like https://excalidraw.com/

If you’re already fluent with html & css then I don’t think there’s anything wrong with using those for mockups. I use pen & paper for rough ideas and the layout, then html when it’s time to look nice. It’s way easier to make bulk changes (like playing with the color scheme or other theme-level changes) when you build it with code.
