Which CRM is the best for small teams?

Hey guys, what kind of CRM system do you use?

I'm part of a small team with no dedicated sales, marketing, or any customer success related member. All developers!

We're getting to the point where it's getting difficult to track our customers. Currently, CRM is being done manually with a super-hard-to-maintain way of inputting data on spreadsheets, calling production database data with Retool, and using a combination of Apollo and good'ol Gmail.

We need to move onto something - and fast!

Our requirements are:

  1. Good integration (Mixpanel, GA, REST APIs, Gmail, etc)
  2. Simple, minimalistic
  3. Cheap (below $20 USD for two would be great...)

Any suggestions?

I am currently trying out Zoho CRM. It has a free version with basic features. The paids versions start from €12/user/month e.t.c.

@watus on IH also pitched https://www.makesales.io to me recently. Hoping to try it out soon. Although it seems more of an outreach tool.
    All the best!

Thanks for the mention @tunjos! CRMs are cool if you need to keep data somewhere. If you need a tool to actually help you sell, then that's where makesales.io comes handy. We integrate CRM capabilities with outreach and sales assistance, to help founders coming from a tech background rock their growth without needing anyone @tyherox

@tunjos & @watus, thanks for the recommendation! Will make sure to check it out later this week :)

@tyherox sounds good I checked your stuff, there's a lot of fun we can have with it! I'm offering to write your first sequence in exchange for some feedback if you up for it

Hello! Just checked out your platform, looks very cool - would you consider any opportunities to integrate on your platform as an extended feature?

Happy to discuss in more detail as it's my startup and we've gained lots of traction recently with CRM platforms. Here's my email - [email protected] - Thanks!

I made Wobaka.com for exactly this reason. Spreadsheets/Airtable and email getting way out of hand and follow-up emails taking too much time.

Send me an email [email protected] if you're interested, or grab a free trial :).

I've been looking for a CRM like Wobaka for quite a while. Just requested a demo.

Looks very similar to what I'm looking for! Great product, will check it out soon.

A good open-source tool is Mautic (your only cost is the VPS, ranging from $5+). If you're a developer, it should be simple enough for you.

Cool recommendation - I've never run into Mautic before.

Very interesting. Never heard of an open source marketing tool. Super cool!

Id like to ask a similar question, but from a slightly different perspective. When, should you introduce a CRM to your project?

    • Before you start dev
    • MVP
    • Time to scale to 100 to 1000 users
    • Beyond 1000 users

The above bullet points can also be looked at from a validation perspective.

Having a CRM tool is the best to way manage everything actually.
