Who are you targeting? B2C, small B2B, large enterprises, etc..

I’m curious who everyone here is building their product for. It seems like each segment has its pros and cons. B2C seems like it’d be the easiest to build for, no need “harder” features like team supporting, SAML login, etc, but also much more saturated and harder to get people to pay. Large enterprises seems like it’d make the most money, but then you have to worry about things like SAML, SLAs, integrations, etc. also they’re less likely to deal with indie vendors. Small businesses seems like it’d be the perfect middle ground which is why I try to target them.

Curious on your thoughts?

Not to get too 'zen' on this, but I think the segment picks you. As you mentioned, there are pros and cons to both, but at the end of the day, you follow the idea/challenge/solution that made its way into your mind 😀.

For rosie.land I'm targetting people who want to build communities & community managers.

Some will be independent, freelance and small business people. But just as many will do community as their profession.
