Hey Indie Hackers! We at Getlanding.io are on the Discovery Stage of the Customer Development process now.
We are trying to find out – what's the actual problem we have to solve and who is our ideal customer?
So I started this discussion on Product Hunt: https://www.producthunt.com/discussions/who-has-a-problem-with-a-copy-for-a-website-now-how-are-you-trying-to-solve-it.
I'm just curious - are there any people here who are currently having the problem with nailing the copy for the website? How are you solving it right now?
I think you are at the right place here, as there are many founders here ;-)
Why have you started the platform, was there a problem you had yourself? What was it?
For me I would need a simple waitlist page for a lot of ideas that I have. Simply input a headline, problem- and solution statement, some features, maybe an image and have an option to let visitors subscribe to a waitlist to get notified when the product lunches + basic analytics + own domain.
That way with every idea that I have, I can simply describe it, share it and see if people are interested. It's a much better than just buying the domain. I could even build waitlists and sell them as validated ideas.
Hi Matthias! Thank you for the excellent question and for sharing your experience. Couchforms looks pretty good.
While working on various projects, I would always find the easiest way to create a good-looking and fast-performing landing page for launching my new project.
There were always multiple options on existing website builders and pre-made templates, but nothing fit my needs or budget. I had to edit the template, which, after my edits, didn't look as pretty anymore. And it wasn't so easy to nail copy that sounded clearly and concisely. It took a vast amount of time.
Gleb had a similar experience, so we decided to build it ourselves.
