Why Facebook is getting in the newsletter game

  1. 1

Substack getting all ready to begin that competition I guess! 😂

But it makes a good idea if you think about it. Facebook has some really cool integrations and so much data, they can deliver newsletters to people directly inside their accounts.

Plus I think creators might get more power and tools to get into the game of newsletters.

I'll believe it when I see it. They have been talking about this for years.

Interesting to see all these changes in social media channels. All the major players are developing all these new initiatives. Linkedin with its content creators platform, reels, insta shop, twitter spaces.. 2021 will be interesting for sure ✌

Facebook doesn't want to be in the newsletter game, but also in the web creation game....2021 will be interesting

In general more competiton means better for consumers in terms of choice, offers and service.

But there is always caution when big tech tries to stifle innovation and remove any form of potential competition.

When there is no more competition, you will end up with one choice, one price and one kind of service, wether you like it or not.

    Cautionary tales.
