Why such a low conversion rate?

Hi guys,

Love this group! Lots of super useful insight :)

I was wondering if anyone could analyze my landing page. My wife and I recently set up a newsletter for parents of toddlers and we're struggling to get subscribers.

We've had a few hundred visits so far and the conversion rate right now is 1.8%. Is this within the normal range? Is there anything obvious that we are doing wrong?
