I'm working on an app similar to Reddit, and I need a cheap/free, customizable, and secure analytics tool to assess user behavior and answer questions about churn, use of different features, and A/B tests. Is Firebase sufficient for my needs or should I look into something like Amplitude? Thanks for your wisdom guys!
Yes, it is. Firebase should be thought of as Google Analytics for Mobile. Churn may be tricky, but I think you could get the job done with cohort retention graphs, which I believe GA added. A/B is explicitly supported.
