Would you be interesting in writing in public?

I recently launched Zine (https://zine.so), an app that helps writers write their books and newsletters in public, gain followers, and get feedback early on in the writing process. "Building in Public" is the hot thing right now in the startup world, and I'm curious to see if this same craze has found its way into the writing world. Two quick questions.

1. What's your writing process?
2. Would you be comfortable with writing in public? Why or why not?
