Would you make some of your personal goals public so others can follow your journey?

Hey IH,

One of the features I wanted for my Goals app was to allow influencers and hustlers to host their personal goals page, so others may follow their journeys.

I am personally interested in following people who sets an intention, then execute for a few months and achieve their goals. That's the insight I care about and what founders are really good at.

The problem with Twitter is it's for opinions, but what we as founders really care are actions.

So in the last 3 days I built a demo public goals page based on my own goals

I am curious about your thoughts and ideas on how you can utilize a bio page like this?

Hey Terry, How are you? You're the reason I joined this amazing community!

Answer to your question: Yes and NO. Totally depends.

If it's just "Volunteer, Be kind or drink water" then I'll be okay it's public. If it's a super-secret project of mine, where I have noted down every single step/goal I have, it's a big NO.

So to answer your question, it's better with "Make my profile public" toggle options. Just that I know I'm in control of my data sounds much better to me.

P.S. I personally stopped using your app when I got emails saying, "AND, DON’T FORGET YOUR NORTH STAR Build a huge global platform" in my weekly summary. If I see something I typed in an app and it comes up in my email, it just means my data could be sent anywhere or worse sold. Your opinion might differ.
