Would you pay to someone, who will manage your community?

Hi Hackers!

Would you outsource management of your community to someone else? That might make sense if your primary objective is to grow your business. And you don't want to spend time/energy on growing your community. But gathering loyal community around that business might bring additional profit.

What do you think?

yes, a SMM and community manager

Pretty sure "community manager" is already a job title that exists and does exactly that.

Yep, but those community managers are mostly inhouse employees. I'm thinking about outsourcing it to someone else. A freelancer or SMM company. What do you think, will it make sense?

Why do you don’t want to grow and learn how to engage your community when they’re an important stakeholder?

No right or wrong. Just curious what’s stopping you? Time? Knowledge? Experience?
